Gusto ko sanang gawing simple lang para hindi naman sobrang haba, pero habang sinusulat ko ’to, mas lalo kong naiisip na parang hindi sapat yung simpleng “Happy Birthday” para sabihin lahat ng gusto kong sabihin. Grabe, ang bilis ng panahon. Parang kailan lang first day natin noong Grade 11, tapos ngayon Grade 12 na tayo. Hindi ko talaga in-expect na ikaw yung magiging una kong kaibigan sa first day ng school. Mas lalo ko ring hindi in-expect na magiging ganito tayo ka-close.Nakakatawa isipin na naging close lang tayo dahil sa Grow a Garden. Isang laro lang yun, pero doon talaga nagsimula yung friendship natin. Hanggang ngayon dala pa rin natin yung bond na nabuo doon. Hanggang sa dumami na rin tayo at nagkaroon pa tayo ng iba't ibang circle of friends. Naalala mo pa? Nagsimula tayo sa Monkeys, tapos naging Dose, at ngayon 67 na. Ang dami na nating pinagdaanan sa bawat circle—mga tawanan, kulitan, asaran, gala, at mga random moments na tayo lang ang nakakaintindi.Hindi lang talaga ako expressive, pero gusto kong malaman mo na isa ka sa mga taong pinaka-pinapahalagahan ko. Mukha lang akong walang pake minsan, pero alam mo naman siguro na concern ako sa'yo. Salamat kasi naging parte ka ng senior high journey ko. Ang dami nating pinagdaanan mula Grade 11 hanggang Grade 12, at sobrang saya kong kasama kita sa paggawa ng memories na dadalhin natin hanggang pagtanda.Thank you sa lahat ng tawanan, sa mga kalokohan, sa mga random na usapan, sa mga gala, at kahit sa mga asaran natin. Kahit sobrang kupal mo minsan at araw-araw mo akong inaasar, hindi ko pa rin ipagpapalit yung friendship natin. Isa ka sa mga kaibigang masasabi kong worth keeping. Sorry rin kung minsan napagsasalitaan kita ng hindi maganda o napapanakit kita. Pero aminin mo rin, mas malakas ka talagang manakit kaysa sa'kin HAHAHA. Gumaganti lang naman ako paminsan-minsan.
Ngayon Grade 12 na tayo. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon. Konti na lang, matatapos na rin yung senior high journey natin. Sana kahit magkanya-kanya na tayo ng college o trabaho balang araw, hindi mawala yung friendship natin. Sana ganito pa rin tayo kapag nagkita ulit—parang walang nagbago. Sa birthday mo, wala akong ibang gusto kundi maging masaya ka palagi. Sana maging healthy ka, maging successful ka sa lahat ng pangarap mo, at sana ibigay ni Lord lahat ng deserve mo. Sana lagi kang gabayan at ingatan sa bawat desisyon mo sa buhay.
