Hats off to our School of Politics and Governance (SPG) Dean, Dr. Allesandra Fay Albarico, for her dedication to public service. As a member of the Judge Advocate General Service (JAGS) Reserve of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) where she holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Albarico dedicates time and attention to provide free legal consultation to selected communities to bring legal assistance close to the people.

August 15 Graduation Rites 2026 was a glorious day for the School of Politics and Governance (SPG) as we celebrated the graduation of our Political Economy students, including the top of the batch, Ms. Pauline Margaret Vivar, Summa Cum Laude, who gave the valedictory address. We, likewise, celebrate Dr. Allesandra Fay Albarico joining us for the first time as Dean of our School.

Congratulations to our School of Politics and Governance Dean, Dr. Allesandra Fay Albarico, for her admission as a Regular Member of the Institute of Corporate Governance (ICD), a non-stock, not-for-profit national association of corporate directors and other stakeholders. ICD is dedicated to promoting good corporate governance which, not only protects and balances all stakeholder interests, strengthens business relationships, increases access to external financing, and leads to better operational performance, but more importantly, is critical to a country's global competitiveness.
