"Ama naming Diyos,

Lumalapit po kami sa Iyo para sa aming bansang Pilipinas.

Sa gitna ng maraming hamon, ingay, pagkakawatak-watak, at pagod ng bayan, naniniwala kami na Ikaw pa rin ang Diyos na may kapangyarihang magpagaling ng aming lupain.

Tulad ng Iyong pangako sa 2 Chronicles 7:14, kapag ang Iyong bayan ay magpapakumbaba, mananalangin, at hahanapin Ka, diringgin Mo po kami at pagagalingin Mo po ang aming bayan.

Panginoon, ipinapanalangin namin ang lahat ng leaders ng gobyerno—mula sa pangulo hanggang sa mga local officials sa barangay level.
Bigyan Mo po sila ng wisdom na hindi lang galing sa talino kundi mula sa Iyo.

Palitan Mo po ang pride ng humility, ang corruption ng integrity, at ang pansariling interes ng tunay na malasakit sa mamamayan.

Turuan Mo po silang mamuno nang may takot sa Diyos, may compassion sa mahihirap, at may tapang na gawin ang tama kahit mahirap.

Nawa’y maging instruments sila ng justice, peace, unity, and hope.

Ingatan Mo rin po ang kanilang pamilya, kalusugan, at puso laban sa tukso at maling impluwensya.

Heavenly Father, please heal our land.

Hilumin Mo po ang sugat ng kahirapan, galit, division, at hopelessness sa aming bansa.

Maghari Ka po sa bawat opisina, komunidad, at tahanan. At magsimula Ka rin po sa amin—na maging mabuting mamamayan na marunong magmahal, manalangin, tumulong, at manindigan sa katotohanan.

Salamat, Panginoon, dahil hindi pa tapos ang Iyong magandang plano para sa Pilipinas. Naniniwala po kaming may pag-asa ang bansang ito habang Ikaw po ang aming sandigan.

Sa pangalan ni Hesus. Amen."

Knowing how much we laugh (and how “loud” our Tagalog sessions can get 😅), we took it al fresco so we wouldn’t scare the other customers.

Between the summer heat and my Tagalog Q&A torture (LOL), Ryne was definitely sweating—but he stayed cool and survived our first face-to-face lesson! 💪
