LOOK: In our March 2026 Opinion Monitor, a strong majority of Filipinos (59.5%) believe that former President Rodrigo Duterte must face the charges filed against him at the International Criminal Court ⚖️

🔎 Majority of Filipinos (51%) also seek holding the former president accountable over the extrajudicial killings that transpired during his war on drugs.

🔎 Over half of respondents (56%) also consider the arrest of Duterte’s co-perpetrators important.

📌 The nationwide face-to-face survey of 1,455 adult Filipinos, conducted from 10–17 March 2026, has a margin of error of ±3% at 95% confidence level.

LOOK: In our March 2026 Opinion Monitor, President Marcos Jr.’s approval ratings slightly improve from November 2025 while Vice President Sara Duterte’s ratings remain largely stable. 📈

Meanwhile, respondents within the Lingayen-Lucena Corridor (LLC) are divided in their assessment of Marcos Jr.’s performance, while nearly 4 in 10 in LLC view Duterte's performance positively.

Duterte’s performance is also assessed more favorably by younger Filipinos, while Marcos Jr. is viewed more positively by Gen X and Baby Boomers.

LOOK: In our March 2026 Public Opinion Monitor, we asked Filipinos how they describe their partisanship based on their factional support. Duterte supporters remained the largest faction (33%), despite a 1-percentage point dip from November 2025.

Meanwhile, more Filipinos consider themselves as pro-Marcos (22%, up by 7-percentage points) and pro-Opposition (17%, up by 5-percentage points) over the same period. In contrast, the share of independents fell from 39% to 25%, marking a sharp 14-percentage point decline.
