— the day I let you go is also the same day I let myself grow.🌷

I may say it once but you can read it twice;

I can grow with you, but I choose not to — not because it will not work but because I want to grow more with the help of myself and not with full dependence on you.

I can grow with you, but I’m too tired to sprinkle waters on you to the point that I cannot spray waters on myself; here I am today dried and drained. — I cannot make you the man of my dreams/prayers but I think you, yourself can. At first, I selflessly think that I can but at the end, here’s my : I can never change one person unless that person will be willing to change himself alone. I’m too tired, I think?

I can grow with you, but I think I’ll grow beautifully without you; consider a tree for instance, as wonderful as trees are to look at, but we never see what goes around the underground. Under a wonderful tree is a deep, fighting root — a root who keeps on fighting so that a single tree may not fall. Then, I graciously realized that I always look forward on becoming a beautiful tree but not considering the deep, fighting roots. I wanna be that ‘root’ — brave, full of courage, keep on fighting and deeply connected with the soil. I wanna be that version of myself – brave, full of courage, keep on fighting and deeply connected with the Lord.

Here’s my words to keep for myself, ‘My failures in the past will never define my growth in the future.’…and, here’s my last words for you, ‘grow and do the same’
