Did a little movement fun with “Copolher” by Estavao Marques and it became an instant favorite 🎶

Labels. Labels. Labels.

I teach in the preschool (3-5 yo) level and I find it very helpful that all instruments are labeled (words with pictures). It not only helps students become familiar with the names of the instruments, it also encourages independence and ownership! After using the instruments, they know where to put them back.

It also saves me time and energy because they do the packing away 😉🤪

We are a fairly new school, just starting to build a collection of instruments. This year, we purchased Orff instruments! I love how flexible this space can be!

Christmas Show

I’ve been doing school (year end) shows every year for 5 years 6 years ago. I’ve already accepted the fact that as a (classroom) music teacher, I can’t get away with it 😂

Every year is different and I always find it challenging, tiring but definitely fun and fulfilling! It’s true when they say that show day is just the tip of the iceberg and underneath is…the *grueling* prep 🥴 so I’ve learned to dance with the waves and just enjoy the journey!💃

Now that I’m back, I’m totally forward to the next!(?)👀🤪 have a holly and a jolly Christmas y’all!!🎄🎶

Half term in and so far having a blast 🚀🎶😍

5 years in the classroom, 6 years freelancing as a violin-piano-music and movement teacher, and now back in the classroom. I never thought I’d be back but I believe God led me back for a purpose 🫶🏼 whatever it is, I do not know exactly yet. But one thing’s for sure, I’m enjoying every moment of it!🤍

Unfamiliar yet familiar. Different yet the same. Yup, I’m back in the classroom! New school, new community, new adventure! Here’s to more music making 🫶🏼🎶

Tomorrow is a start of a new adventure. And before that, I would like to take this chance to honor these special people who I crossed paths with and made me into the teacher that I am today.

I am grateful for each student, parent and friend I met and did life with. Thank you for the relationship. Thank you for the friendship. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes. Thank you for letting me share with you my love for teaching and learning music. You guys will always have a special place in my heart 🤍

To my students, I’m so proud of you and I’m always rooting for you! No goodbyes, just see you around!!🤍
