𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. 🌱

Let us protect the one who protects us—𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚋𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚙𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚜, 𝑺𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒓𝒆. Every time a typhoon hits Central Luzon, Sierra Madre stands strong, weakening its impact and shielding our communities. 🏔️

However, despite its vital role in protecting our country, Sierra Madre is facing 𝚜𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚖𝚊𝚐𝚎 caused by 𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚐𝚊𝚕 𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚖𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚑𝚞𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚎𝚜. What’s even worse is the construction of the 𝙺𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚠𝚊 𝙳𝚊𝚖. near Sierra Madre, which has devastating effects on the lives of thousands of species (Philstar, 2018). 📖
