CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Please be informed that classes at Woodstock Learning Center are suspended today, August 20, 2026, in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 131.

There will be no face-to-face classes, and students are not required to report to school. To support learning continuity, teachers will provide asynchronous learning activities through our communication channels.

We encourage everyone to prioritize safety and continue to monitor official weather and government advisories.

🎯 Playing, aiming, and learning!

Our Grade 6 pupils put their learning into action through a fun and engaging PE and Health activity on target games. Through each throw, aim, and attempt, they practiced and developed foundational skills such as focus, accuracy, coordination, control, and body awareness. ✨

Learning is not just about knowing the skills—it’s also about experiencing, practicing, and applying them! Through active play, our pupils had fun while building skills that they can use in different physical activities. 🏃‍♀️🎯💪

✨Steady Steps, Strong Faith: Finding Balance in Our Journey!

Faith teaches us to walk with purpose, focus, and a steady heart! At Woodstock Learning Center, we love bringing values education to life through engaging, hands-on experiences.

During our Faith activity, our learners took on a fun challenge: walking carefully across the room while balancing a book on their heads! With a big smiles and careful footsteps, they focused on keeping their body steady so the book wouldn't fall. This playful activity served as a gentle, memorable illustration that walking in faith requires patience, focus, and balance every step of the way.

Through this engaging challenge, our young learners practiced:

📗Focus & Mindfulness: Developing posture, concentration, and body control as they carefully navigated each step.

📗Patience & Perseverance: Learning that staying balanced takes practice, steady movement, and trusting their own pace.

📗Carrying Wisdom High: Symbolically honoring knowledge and holding good values close as they grow.

Please be informed that classes are suspended today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the President.

The suspension is being implemented due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), with the safety and well-being of our students and the entire WLC community as our priority.

Further information regarding learning activities for today will be communicated through our usual channels.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, exercise caution, and prioritize safety, especially when traveling or going outdoors.

CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Classes will be suspended today, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, following the announcement issued by the Pasig City Local Government Unit in consideration of the prevailing weather conditions.

To help our learners continue learning at home, Asynchronous Activities will be provided. These activities are designed to help students review and practice previously learned lessons while classes are suspended.

The safety and well-being of our students and the entire WLC community remain our priority.

Our Math and Science Week was a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and collaborative learning. Throughout the week, our students enthusiastically participated in a variety of hands-on science experiments and an engaging Quiz Bee, providing meaningful opportunities to apply mathematical and scientific concepts in real-world contexts.

These activities encouraged learners to think critically, solve problems creatively, and work collaboratively while developing a deeper appreciation for Mathematics and Science. Through active participation and experiential learning, students strengthened not only their academic knowledge but also their confidence, curiosity, and love for discovery.

As a school committed to progressive and inclusive education, we continue to provide enriching learning experiences that empower every learner to explore, discover, and succeed. Together, we nurture future-ready individuals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to make a positive impact in their communities.

CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Classes were cancelled early this morning following the Yellow Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA at 8:00 AM, as we prioritized the safety and well-being of our students and the entire WLC community.

The rainfall warning has since been raised to Orange, indicating heavier rainfall and continued unfavorable weather conditions.

We strongly encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions, avoid unnecessary travel, and prioritize safety.

Science comes alive when children are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, and test their ideas through hands-on investigation. What may seem like a simple experiment is actually an opportunity to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning.

As our Grade 3 learners carefully observed, predicted outcomes, and measured liquid volumes, they strengthened their observation, prediction, and measurement skills while learning to draw conclusions based on evidence. Every investigation reminded them that science is not just about finding the right answer—it is about asking questions, testing ideas, and discovering how the world works.

At Woodstock Learning Center, we believe that meaningful learning happens when children become active participants in the learning process. Through inquiry, exploration, and discovery, we nurture curious minds, confident problem-solvers, and lifelong learners who are ready to make sense of the world around them. 🔎✨

💗 Learning to Read, One Little Heart at a Time! 💗

Who says learning to read has to be difficult? At WLC, we make every learning experience fun, meaningful, and engaging! 📚✨

Through our “Broken Heart Matching Activity,” our young learners had fun finding the missing half of each word while learning about onset and rime. ❤️🧩

More than just matching words, our students are developing their early reading skills, word recognition, confidence, and love for learning—all while enjoying the experience with their classmates! 🥰
