As we face another typhoon, Pasay City National High School Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (B.E.R.T.) reminds everyone to always stay alert, informed, and ready. Disasters may strike anytime, but with the right preparation, we can keep ourselves, our families, and our community safe. ๐Ÿ™

Here are some important reminders to help you stay safe during a typhoon:

๐Ÿ  Stay indoors and keep calm. Secure your home and stay away from windows.

๐Ÿ“บ Monitor TV and radio reports. Stay updated with official announcements and weather forecasts.

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Evacuate if necessary. Always prioritize safety over belongings. Listen to authorities.

๐Ÿ”ฆ Have a flashlight and radio with fresh batteries. Power interruptions are common during typhoons, so keep these essentials ready.

๐Ÿฑ Stock up on food, water, and first aid supplies. Prepare enough for several days to ensure your familyโ€™s needs are met.

โšก Turn off electricity, gas, and water in case of flooding. Prevent accidents by switching off these utilities early.

By simulating potential hazards such as blocked exits, drills ensure that people know what to do when a real earthquake strikes.

We are truly grateful to the volunteers(B.E.R.T. Officers, SSLG Officers, BSP, GSP, BKD, YES-O, MAPEH Club, CIC, RCY) teachers, non-teaching personnel, SPTA officers, and Barangay Officials for volunteering this event.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ng School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team ang Oryentasyon patungkol sa iba't ibang uri ng hazards at kung paano ito maiiwasan na ginanap ngayong Hulyo 28, 2025, bilang pakikiisa sa National Disaster Resilience Month. Pinangunahan ito ng SDRRM Coordinator at B.E.R.T. adviser na si Ms. Amy Villanueva katuwang ang mga opisyal ng B.E.R.T. Nairaos ang oryentasyon sa tulong ni G. Israel Guese, g**o sa MAPEH bilang tagapanayam sa nasabing gawain. Ito ay nilahukan ng iba't ibang school organization katulad ng SSLG, BKD, RCY, YES-O, CIC, GSP, at BSP.

Pinangunahan ng School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management at Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) ang 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) sa pakikipagtulungan ng BSP, GSP, SSLG, BKD, pamunuan ng SPTA, Brgy. 54, Brgy. 56, at Brgy. 57 na ginanap ngayong Hunyo 19, 2025, ganap na 9:00 ng umaga sa Pasay City National High School. Ito ay bilang paghahanda sa nalalapit na Brigada Eskwela at pagbubukas ng klase. PCNatHS, Mayo 22, 2025- Bilang bahagi ng Kampanya Kontra Dengue, isinagawa ang Fogging Operation nitong Huwebes ng umaga. Layunin ng Fogging na mapuksa ang mga lamok na nagdadala ng Dengue. Ang Fogging na ito ay pinangunahan ng ating SDO Pasay, sa pakikipagtulungan ng ating lokal na pamahalaan- Environment and Sanitation Office.
Ang Fogging na ito ay kabilang sa paghahanda ng nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase sa Hunyo.
