March of every year marks Fire Prevention Month, a crucial time to remind ourselves that most fires are preventable. Every year, thousands of home fires cause avoidable injuries and loss. Imagine the danger: an overloaded outlet with frayed wires, a candle burning too close to curtains, or a gas stove left slightly on. These small oversights can lead to disastrous moments.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐲:

𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: Don't overload outlets or leave chargers in indefinitely.

𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞: Keep flammable materials far away from open flames.

As students, it is a "no-no" to play with fire! Fire safety means being responsible: checking our wires, staying away from lighters, and—most importantly—memorizing our school’s emergency exit routes. With the right knowledge, we can turn our homes and schools into fire-safe zones!

February 14, 2026 was more than just a date on the calendar—it was a day of discipline, teamwork, and readiness. 🔥
The Bureau of Fire Protection conducted a Fire Olympics training session at Pasay City East in preparation for the 2026 Fire Olympics. Student representatives from President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino National High School (PCCCANHS) and Pasay City East High School (PCEHS) took part in various activities designed to test physical endurance, coordination, and teamwork under pressure.

Through hands-on drills and competitive challenges, the training emphasized the importance of preparedness, quick decision-making, and cooperation—qualities essential in emergency response situations. It was a day that pushed limits, built confidence, and reminded everyone that true readiness is earned through practice, discipline, and commitment.
