Congratulations to the Senior High School Program of St. Mary's Academy of Pasay City Inc. for being granted an Initial Three-Year Accreditation by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), valid until February 2029!

This significant milestone affirms the schoolโ€™s unwavering commitment to quality Catholic education, academic excellence, and the holistic formation of learners. The accreditation recognizes the institutionโ€™s dedication to maintaining high standards in instruction, curriculum, student services, and school leadership, ensuring that students are nurtured not only intellectually but also spiritually and socially.

The successful accreditation is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the entire Ignacian Marian community, whose dedication and hard work made this achievement possible. With the guidance of our School Principal, Mr. Juanito Tan, and the support of the RVM Sisters, middle administrators, the school community worked diligently to ensure a thorough and successful accreditation process.

Special recognition is also given to the Senior High School students and teachers, led by the SHS Coordinator, Mr. Dan Marvic Rubica, for their commitment, preparation, and active participation throughout the accreditation journey.

This recognition highlights the schoolโ€™s continuous pursuit of improvement and innovation in delivering relevant and meaningful learning experiences that prepare Marian graduates to become competent, compassionate, and socially responsible individuals.

As the Senior High School Program moves forward with this recognition, the school community remains steadfast in its mission to form learners who embody faith, excellence, and service. May this achievement continue to inspire us to strive for greater heights in service of God and our students.

Our very own Ignacian Marian journalists who qualified for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) actively participated in the Division Journalism Clinique organized by the Schools Division Office of Pasay City last February 18โ€“20, 2026. The three-day training aimed to further enhance the participantsโ€™ journalistic skills and prepare them for the upcoming regional competition.

Representing the school in various categories were the following student journalists:

Pagsulat ng Agham at Teknolohiya
Vanila Frances Sabio
Grade 6 โ€“ Mary, the Blessed Virgin

Paglalarawang Tudling
Yaszhira Szenjieh Luceriano
Grade 9 โ€“ Our Lady of Fort Pilar

Editorial Writing
Francesca Sofia Faburada
Grade 10 โ€“ Our Lady of the Candles

News Writing
Sofia Eunice Simaurio
Grade 6 โ€“ Mary Guide of the Way

During the clinique, the participants engaged in intensive workshops and mentoring sessions facilitated by distinguished school paper advisers and trainers from various schools who placed first in their respective categories during the Division Schools Press Conference.

Among the trainers were two representatives from St. Maryโ€™s Academy of Pasay City, Inc.:

Pagsulat ng Agham at Teknolohiya
Ms. Angerica Fesariton

Paglalarawang Tudling
Mr. Orlando Abon

Indeed, the Division Journalism Clinique served as a meaningful gathering of young writers and campus journalistsโ€”an enriching experience that honed their writing prowess, strengthened their journalistic competence, and geared them up for the challenges of the Regional Schools Press Conference.

All the best, Ignacian Marians!
Keep the blue and white banner flying!
