The Sweet Little Hamster and the thing she missed
Once upon a time in a far away land lives a sweet little hamster. Hamster is always looking for something; something she can’t put her fingers into, something she really don’t know what.
The hare and the rabbit are puzzled. “Why are you always troubled, little hamster.” They asked. “What are you really looking for?”
“I don’t know.” Said little hamster. “But I feel it is something really important, something that will complete me.”
One day as little hamster is looking for her “something” as usual, she sat on top of a rock to rest. Suddenly the roc moved. The rock turns out to be old tortoise basking in the sun.
“I’m sorry for sitting on your back,” said little hamster to the old tortoise.
It’s okay,” said tortoise. “I’m just enjoying the sun.
“I noticed you are restless, you seem to be looking for something,” said old tortoise. “Do you need some help?”
“It’s really nothing,” said little hamster. “Ever since I can remember, I was looking for this special “something”.”
“What is that special something you are looking for?” asked old tortoise.
“I really don’t know” said little hamster. “I just feel its something really important; something that would complete me.”
“Have you tried looking at your back?” old tortoise inquired. “Most of the time, that’s where I tend to lose my things.”
So little hamster reaches out to her back.
“Oh! There’s something in my back,” she said. “I have a tail; this is what I’m looking for.”
“I am finally complete,” said little hamster excitedly. “What I’m actually looking for is always with me all along.”
