In observance of βAmun Jadid (First Day of Muharram) on June 16, 2026, this day is recognized as a Special Working Holiday across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Under the Bangsamoro Holidays Act (BAA No. 39), holidays identified in Presidential Decree No. 1083 but not expressly declared as regular holidays are observed as special working holidays.
