How are you?

When you talk with someone you know very well you can say "Ça va?", "Bien?", "Tranquil?"
In general, is equal at "What's up?", "How'u doing?"

When you talk with someone you know but not so much or a casual person you can say "Tu vas bien?", "Comment vas-tu?"
This one is more casual "How are you?"

When you talk with someone you don't know or someone you want to be polite you can say "Comment allez-vous?"
This one is more "How is your day sir/mam?"

You also can add more words if you want to be more specific, like "Comment allez-vous aujourd'hui?",
"How are you today?", "How is your day ?"

"Comment a été votre journée d'hier?"
"How was your day yesterday?"

When you talk to someone you don't know really well or you want to be polite, you can say "Bonjour" while the day is here and "Bonsoir" while the night is here.

If you want to be more familiar with friends and people you like you can say, "Salut", "Yo", "Hey!"

If you want to be polite for someone you don't know and you want full respect you can say "Bien le Bonjour Monsieur / Madame" or "Bien le Bonsoir Monsieur / Madame".

Fun fact :
You probably know but I prefer to repeat in case: The sun in France wake up and sleep at a different time of the year. We have Season.

The end of December to the end of March is Winter (L'hiver), Is the moment or the sun Wake up late and Sleep Soon. It's also the time where we have Snow!

The end of March to the end of June is Springs (Printemps), is the a normal day the sun wake up and sleep standard , for me is the best time, not too cold, not too hot, the tree is very beautiful.

The end of June to the end of September is Summer (L'été), is the moment where the day is the longest, sun wake up early and sleep very late, is the hottest moment of the year and all students are in holiday (more or less 2 months)

The end of September to the end of December is Autumn (L'Automne), Is the moment of the sun start to wake up sooner and sleep sooner, at this moment of the year the green tree change to brown and start to lose their flowers.

In France, we have a minimum of 3 types of sentences to says the same thing.
Familiar
Standard
Polite

We use familiar sentences with Friends, close family, and a person we know very well.

We use standard sentences with persons we want to be polite but not so much, like colleagues, administration, and persons in general.

We use Polite sentences with Boss, during an interview for a job, and all persons important who we need full respects.

I will teach you all the possibilities when you will reach the end of an intermediate level or start an advanced level.

Some people in France don't like it when you made a mistake with your grammar or when you talk.

We talk about one subject you love, any subjects. While we talk about I'll tell you what to say, how to say it and the most important WHY to say it like that.

We will write about the subject you love and I'll create a course based on what that. You will like it because it's based on your love and I will train you on the important part of French and your needs.

When we will read, we will find something you like to read, and if the book, comics or anything else existing in French we will read it and I will teach you the words you don't understand, expression, specific grammar. I will explain to you why in French it's like that and how don't do the mistake again.
