Fair Training Center (FTC) is a not-for-profit organization that aims to empower migrant workers through effective and relevant programs, paving the way for more successful businesses and prepared workers. We're a non-stock organization dedicated to helping Filipino migrant workers get ready for overseas jobs by offering soft skills training that's tailored to their specific destination and needs.

Alam naming hindi naging madali ang malayo sa pamilya para makapagbigay ng mas magandang buhay. Every sacrifice, every missed birthday, every extra shift — lahat ng ’yan, dala ng pagmamahal.

This Mother’s Day, saludo kami sa lahat ng OFW moms at working mothers na patuloy lumalaban para sa pamilya nila, saan man sa mundo.

Para sa lahat ng ilaw ng tahanan — Happy Mother’s Day. 💚

🏢 Last May 5 to 6, FTC proudly joined the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, organized by UN Women with Aimee Gloria, FTC's Executive Director, representing the organization.

The series of talks showcased UN Women's vision for : To advance caring cities / localities that consciously reduce the burden of care to promote economic empowerment, strengthen communities, and support inclusive local and national development.

At FTC, this reflects our continued commitment to empowering Filipino workers through training, soft skills development, and advocacy for dignified work opportunities all over the world. 🌏

In 2025, Beyond the Deck trained 2,168 cadets stepping forward as “future-ready.” Across our network, we saw a 73% completion rate, reaching as high as 93% in our most engaged partner institutions.

And perhaps most telling of all:
✨ 99% of program completers said they would recommend the program to their peers.

This Thursday, FTC invites everyone to take a moment to pause and reflect on the realities many communities around the world continue to face.

Across regions, conflict and economic uncertainty affect not only nations, but families and individuals—especially migrant workers who remain far from home and, in some cases, unable to reunite with their loved ones because of circumstances beyond their control.

We stand in quiet solidarity with migrants everywhere who continue to show strength and resilience in the face of uncertainty. As always, FTC remains committed to supporting those working toward safer, more hopeful futures for themselves and their families. 🌍✨

𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙏𝘾

As we culminate International Women’s Month, FTC proudly honors the women who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support migrant learners as they prepare for brighter futures abroad.

Today, we recognize Mrs. Raissa Calunsag, our Curriculum Development Specialist since 2023, whose adaptability and versatility help shape learning journeys that empower future migrant workers. In her message to women everywhere, she shares:

“I’ve been incredibly lucky to be shaped by so many brilliant women. They taught me that we aren't just along for the ride; we are the navigators of our own stories and the anchors for those we love. It is a true honor to help others map out their journeys and take ownership of their futures.

To every woman out there pushing boundaries and making things happen: keep going. Your impact is real, and you are changing the world just by being in it.”

We also honor Ms. Anne Arahan, FTC’s Admin Officer since 2019, one of the organization’s quiet backbones whose wholehearted care for students continues to make a lasting difference. Her message to women:

“To all women—continue to show up with confidence. Your voice matters, your dreams are valid, and your strength is greater than any doubt.”
