📢 Parent Information Corner: What Does Stimming Look Like in Children? 🤔
At our center, we celebrate and support each child's unique way of learning, communicating, and interacting with the world.
Stimming (self-stimulatory behavior) refers to repetitive movements, sounds, or actions that help children regulate emotions, process sensory input, express excitement, or find comfort.
Some common examples of stimming include:
✨ Hand flapping
✨ Rocking back and forth
✨ Jumping repeatedly
✨ Spinning or twirling
✨ Humming or repeating words and sounds
✨ Tapping, fidgeting, or manipulating objects
✨ Watching moving objects closely
Stimming is often a natural way for children to self-regulate and may be observed in many children, including those with sensory processing differences or developmental needs.
As parents and caregivers, understanding the purpose behind these behaviors allows us to provide support, acceptance, and a nurturing environment where children can succeed.
For any concerns regarding your child's development, our team is here to guide and support you every step of the way. 💜✨

Gentle parenting doesn't mean perfect parenting. 💛
Gentle parenting can look like:
✨ choosing connection over control
✨ staying calm during meltdowns
✨ understanding sensory needs instead of
punishing behaviors
✨ celebrating small wins others may not notice
✨ offering patience when communication is
difficult
✨ creating a safe space where your child feels
accepted and loved
Some days are challenging, exhausting, and emotional — and that's okay. Gentle parenting is not about never getting frustrated; it's about showing up with empathy, understanding, and love again and again.
Your child doesn't need perfection. They need support, patience, and someone who believes in them every step of the way. 🌈💜🌱

Understanding AuDHD (Autism + ADHD) in children. 💜✨
Some kids aren't “too much” or “not trying hard enough”—their brains are simply wired differently. AuDHD means your child may experience the world with both the focus challenges of ADHD and the sensory/deep-processing traits of autism… all at the same time.
They might:
• Crave routine but struggle to stick to it
• Feel everything intensely yet have trouble
expressing it
• Hyperfocus one moment, then lose attention
the next
• Be incredibly creative, observant, and unique
As parents, the goal isn't to “fix” them—it's to understand them, support them, and meet them where they are.
Patience over pressure. Connection over correction. 💫
