The Sto. Niño National High School Girl Scouts, together with their dedicated Troop Leader, Mrs. Noemi Villa, proudly participated in HistoEx 2026: Across Borders and Currents held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, Pasay City.

The event provided an enriching opportunity for our Girl Scouts to immerse themselves in historical exhibits, interactive displays, and cultural narratives that highlighted the interconnected stories of nations, people, and civilizations. Through this meaningful experience, they deepened their appreciation of history, heritage, and global citizenship while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

PARAÑAQUE CITY POLICE STATION STATEMENT ON THREAT MESSAGES CIRCULATING IN SOCIAL MEDIA

In response to the circulating Facebook post alleging planned shootings in several schools within Parañaque City and other cities, this Police Station, through the Intelligence Section immediately initiated validation and verification to determine the authenticity of the said online threat; fortunately, the investigation yielded negative results.

While the content of these posts may be perceived as a potential source of widespread alarm and public threat, we want to assure the public that we have intensified our monitoring and coordination efforts, particularly in schools within our jurisdiction. Our primary goal is to safeguard public safety and prevent any potential ex*****on of criminal activities.

The Parañaque City Police Station will continue collaborate closely with school authorities and partner agencies to ensure the safety and security of our communities. We urge the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information and be aware that spreading false threats or malicious information to cause panic and alarm can lead to serious legal consequences.

Sto. Niño National High School successfully conducted its School Orientation on Disaster Preparedness and Risk Mitigation at the School Gym as part of its commitment to ensuring a safe, resilient, and disaster-ready learning environment for all learners and school personnel.
