RANGERS RISING: A SYMPHONY OF SPIRIT AND STRENGTH AT INTRAMURALS! 📣🔥
The dust has settled on the grounds, but the echoes of our victory still ring through the air! This year’s Intramurals was more than just a series of games—it was a definitive showcase of the School of Arts and Sciences' heart, hustle, and high-octane energy.

From the very first whistle to the final buzzer, our SASsy Rangers showed up and showed out. Whether it was the strategic brilliance on the court, the raw endurance on the field, or the sheer power of our collective voice, we proved that SAS is a force to be reckoned with.

CELEBRATING OUR VICTORIES:
THE POWER OF THE YELL: Our Yell Competition performance was a masterpiece of synchronization and spirit. Every chant and every stomp vibrated with a unified SAS energy that set the entire Aguinaldo Balinao Hall on fire!

ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE: To our basketball, volleyball, and individual sports athletes—your grit and sportsmanship were inspiring. You fought for every point and represented our department with unwavering pride.

THE SASSY SPIRIT: To the fans in the bleachers who lost their voices cheering—you were our "sixth man." Your energy fueled every play and every performance.

This success wasn't just about the scores; it was about how we navigated the complexities of the competition by leaning on one another. We cheered together, we competed with integrity, and we emerged stronger as a family.

To our incredible athletes, our dedicated choreographers, and every single Ranger who wore our colors—THIS WIN IS YOURS. We didn't just participate; we made our mark.

LET’S KEEP THAT MOMENTUM GOING, SASSY RANGERS! 💙💛

Navigating the Complexities: A Heartfelt Look Back at the SAS Major’s Forum 🧭✨
In a world that often feels like a whirlwind of shifting identities and mounting pressures, we were forced to stop and ask a vital question: "How do we navigate the complexities of the modern world without losing our way?"

This was the guiding theme of our recent School of Arts and Sciences Major’s Forum, and the experience was truly transformative. We were honored to have our NLAC President, Ptr. Rodel V. Belga, PhD, lead us through a profound discussion at the intersection of Psychology and Faith. It wasn’t just a lecture; it was a deep dive into the real-life challenges we all navigate daily—from the silent battles of mental health to the intricacies of our modern relationships.

The Highlights of Our Journey:
Deepened Understanding: We tackled contemporary issues like identity and emotional well-being with honesty and grace.

A New Perspective: Many walked away with a better understanding of themselves and a renewed sense of compassion for those around them.

Faith in Action: We explored how to use our faith as a compass to navigate today’s world with confidence.

It was heartening to see the Aguinaldo Balinao Hall filled with students ready to engage and grow together. Beyond the credits and the snacks, the true value was the shared realization that we don't have to face these complexities alone.

To everyone who attended—thank you for your vulnerability and your presence. This session officially fulfilled the Colloquium requirement, but more importantly, it provided us with the direction we need to move forward without losing our way.

Let’s keep navigating, SASsy Rangers! 💙💛

From 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟑, as a signature highlight of our 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, our booth served as a gateway for meaningful connections through the art of gifting. Central to this initiative was our 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, a narrative-driven effort to promote both affection and a love for literature within our academic community.

The act of giving a bookmark was chosen as a symbolic gesture—a reminder that like a great story, the bonds we share deserve to be preserved and cherished. Over the course of these three days, the booth became a hub of 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, where students and faculty exchanged these tokens as lasting mementos of friendship and appreciation.

The success of the 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 initiative from February 11 to 13 underscored our department's commitment to thoughtful engagement. We are honored to have played a role in "marking" these special moments in the lives of our fellow students.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in making this celebration not just a fleeting moment, but a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 in our collective memory.

From 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟑, our campus was transformed by the spirit of love and camaraderie as we successfully hosted our 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡. This three-day event served as a dedicated sanctuary for the expression of heartfelt sentiments, fostering a culture of appreciation and kindness within our academic community.

The booth was designed to be more than a mere attraction; it was a 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐛 where students and faculty alike could pause to celebrate the bonds that unite us. Whether through the exchange of tokens or the sharing of kind words, the atmosphere remained consistently vibrant and inclusive.

As we conclude this season of love, we reflect with gratitude on the smiles shared and the connections strengthened. The 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 was not merely a success in numbers, but a triumph of the heart.

We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to the warmth and joy of these three unforgettable days.

Throughout the festivities, the 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 stood as a dedicated space for students, alumni, faculty, and guests to document their shared history. It was more than a mere attraction; it was a narrative tool that transformed fleeting moments into lasting mementos of our institution's century-long journey of faith and excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited and supported the 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡. Your enthusiasm turned our mission into a resounding success, making this founding anniversary a truly unforgettable experience.

As we look back on 103 years of God’s guidance, we are honored to have played a part in framing the smiles that will carry us into the future.

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 successfully convened its highly anticipated 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, a premier academic gathering dedicated to the exploration of human knowledge and research excellence.

This year’s event was uniquely centered on the profound theme:
✨ "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭." ✨

The discourse moved beyond traditional academic silos to examine how our intellectual pursuits, physical well-being, and inner resilience intersect. The presentations demonstrated that true scholarly progress is achieved when we acknowledge the 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 of the human experience.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲:

🌿 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲: Researchers across the Arts and Sciences explored how mental acuity and spiritual groundedness enhance scientific and creative inquiry.
🌿 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞: A distinguished panel of evaluators and speakers facilitated a dialogue that challenged us to maintain balance in an increasingly complex world.
🌿 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐫: Our students and faculty showcased high-level research that reflected the integration of the 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 for wisdom, the 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 for action, and the 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 for purpose.

The success of this program marks a milestone in our department's journey toward nurturing well-rounded scholars. By grounding our academic work in the principle of 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, we ensure that our contributions to society are both meaningful and sustainable.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers and participants who made this September 3rd session a landmark achievement in the 𝐒𝐀𝐒 academic calendar.

The call to assemble was issued, and the 𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 answered with unparalleled spirit. On August 17, 2025, the "Command Center" came alive as the 𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐬𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 proved to be a resounding success, marking a milestone of fellowship, color, and collective identity.

The day commenced at 8:30 AM, transforming the venue into a vibrant spectrum of Ranger pride. Following the thematic dress code, each year level embodied their designated power with distinction:

🔹 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 set a tone of steady confidence.
🔴 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 ignited the atmosphere with bold leadership.
🟢 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 channeled a powerhouse energy that fueled the day's activities.
🌸 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 led the charge with a sophisticated blend of style and senior-level grace.

Beyond the aesthetics, the event was a testament to the department’s commitment to discipline and sustainability. In a successful "𝐞𝐜𝐨-𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧," students arrived equipped with their own "battle gear"—reusable plates, cups, and utensils—ensuring the celebration remained waste-free and environmentally conscious.

The program reached its peak during the 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, where we recognized the dedication of our 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐬 and the creative excellence of those named 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞. These individuals truly captured the essence of what it means to be a "SASsy Ranger."

The success of the day was made possible through the meticulous coordination of our 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. The SASsy Rangers have officially morphed from a group of individuals into a unified force. It was, by all accounts, a 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐇-𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 beginning to our journey together.
