The Department of Education issues the School Calendar and Activities for SY 2021-2022, in accordance with its commitment to learning continuity amidst the health crisis.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, upon the recommendation of the DepEd Secretary, has approved September 13, 2021 as the opening date of the school year. The school year shall consist of 209 school days and shall end on June 24, 2022.

The conduct of face-to-face classes, whether partial or full scale, will not be allowed unless permitted by the Office of the President.

One of the most significant dates in the Philippine’s history is Independence Day because it marks the nation’s independence from the Spanish rule on June 12, 1898. Filipinos celebrate it annually on June 12.

Independence Day (Filipino: Araw ng Kasarinlan; also Araw ng Kalayaan, lit. “Day of Freedom”) is an annual national holiday in the Philippines observed on 12 June, commemorating the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain on 12 June 1898. It is the country’s National Day.

Ang P*S SSG ay nakiisa sa Kabataan at Kasarinlan: Philippine Independence Youth Campaign na uumpisahan ngayon ika-5 ng Hunyo hanggang ika-11 ng Hunyo. Sa aktibidad na "RAISE OUR FLAG" , Flag Making Campaign na kung saan ang mga estudyante at kaguruan ay gagawa ng bandila ng Pilipinas.
