Our ๐๐๐๐-๐๐ค๐ง๐๐๐ฃ ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐ง, Maโam Jonajean R. Jagna successfully completed the five-day ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ at the ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐๐ถ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐๐ถ ๐๐ถ๐๐.
The program covered the revised SPFL Curriculum Guide and the collaborative development of competency-aligned, intercultural classroom activities. It also featured enriching activities at the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines, including Korean language workshop, traditional painting, K-pop and traditional dance sessions, a Korean culinary activity, a film screening, and a book talk with a best-selling Korean author. A visit and classroom observation at the Korean International School Philippines also provided valuable insights into Korean education and teaching practices.
A proud highlight was Maโam Jonaโs lesson demonstration, where she applied her learning and shared meaningful instructional techniques with fellow educators.
As Term 2 begins, the knowledge, teaching approaches, and cultural insights gained from this immersion will enrich the teaching-learning process through more authentic, interactive, and culturally responsive Korean language lessons. From immersion to inspiration, these meaningful experiences will now come alive in the classroom.
