𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗠𝗖𝗖), through the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs, engaged with representatives from 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹 during an initial meeting to explore potential opportunities for collaboration, particularly in providing internship opportunities for MCC students.

The discussion focused on possible areas of partnership that will allow students to gain valuable industry exposure, develop practical skills, and apply their academic knowledge in a professional work environment. This initiative also aims to strengthen the connection between MCC and the industry in support of student career development and future employment opportunities.

MCC warmly appreciates Colas Rail for its time and openness to exploring this partnership. We look forward to fostering a meaningful collaboration that will provide MCC students with valuable internship experiences and help prepare them for successful careers.

𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞

𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 (𝐌𝐂𝐂), through the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs, conducted an initial partnership meeting with representatives of 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. to discuss a potential internship collaboration that will provide students with meaningful industry immersion and experiential learning opportunities.

The meeting focused on exploring internship opportunities, strengthening industry-academe collaboration, and identifying areas for future partnership that will enhance student employability and workforce readiness. Mabalacat City College, in partnership with the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 and the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐏𝐒𝐀), successfully facilitated the Philippine National ID (PhilID) Registration and PSA transaction services for MCC students.

The activity provided students with accessible and convenient on-campus government services, including National ID registration and PSA-related transactions such as the processing and issuance of important civil registry documents, including birth certificates, marriage certificates, and Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR). The initiative supports the government’s efforts to expand PhilID registration and bring essential public services closer to the college community.

A National ID provides a secure and permanent proof of identity, making it easier to access government services, financial institutions, educational opportunities, and many other essential transactions.

Mabalacat City College officially formalized its partnership with 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 through the signing of a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐌𝐎𝐀), marking a significant milestone in the College's commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and industry-academe collaboration.

The ceremonial signing was led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐍. 𝐃𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐳𝐦𝐚𝐧, College President, together with the College's Vice Presidents, Institute Deans, Program Heads, and teaching and non-teaching personnel. Joining the College for this milestone event from 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬 𝐏𝐁𝐌 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 were 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐡𝐮𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨, Strategic Communications and Engagement Lead, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨, Learning and Development Lead.

Beyond the MOA signing, Ms. Pioquinto and Mr. Fidelino delivered an informative presentation introducing the 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 initiative and demonstrating its digital learning platform. They highlighted its extensive collection of industry-aligned courses, learning resources, and certification opportunities designed to equip students, faculty, and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.

A major highlight of the partnership was the granting of 𝟓𝟏𝟎 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬 𝐏𝐁𝐌 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, providing members of the Mabalacat City College community with access to the Infosys Springboard platform and its wide range of high-quality learning resources that support continuous learning, digital upskilling, and professional development.

This partnership reflects Mabalacat City College's continued pursuit of meaningful collaborations that enhance teaching, learning, and workforce readiness. 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗠𝗖𝗖), through the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs, welcomed representatives from 𝗬𝗼𝗸𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. for an initial exploratory meeting to discuss a potential partnership focused on providing scholarship opportunities for deserving MCC students.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Leah G. Dela Cruz, Executive Assistant, Office of the President and Senior Supervisor of the Public Relations and General Services Section, and Mr. Patrick P. Pineda, PR and CSR Supervisor of the Public Relations and General Services Section, Corporate Planning & Business Operations Department.

The discussion centered on shared commitments to expanding access to quality education, supporting student development, and strengthening industry-academe collaboration through meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives.

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐

It’s Day 2 of the Grab Campus Activation at MCC.

On its first day, the Grab booth introduced students to the features of the Grab app, including step-by-step guidance on how to download, navigate, and place their first orders. Students were also assisted in trying out group ordering, while enjoying interactive booth activities and receiving freebies and exclusive merchandise. The setup provided a simple and accessible way for students to explore digital services that can support their everyday needs.

Today, the same atmosphere carries on, welcoming more students to stop by, look around, and experience it for themselves.

The activation runs until 6:00 PM at the Main Building Hallway.

Mabalacat City College expresses its sincere appreciation to the representatives of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas for conducting the Community Education Program on Migration for its students and community members. The session provided substantive discussions on migration, human trafficking, and the Anti-Mail Order Spouse Act, emphasizing the importance of legal awareness, protection mechanisms, and informed decision-making.

The College extends its gratitude to Mr. Ariel Cruz, Senior Emigrant Services Officer; Ms. Rovie Ana Pamintuan, Emigrant Services Officer I; and Mr. Vincent Jose O. Cruz, Technical Assistant III – Counselor, for sharing their expertise and professional guidance on these critical issues affecting Filipino migrants.

Through initiatives such as this, Mabalacat City College reinforces its commitment to preparing its students to navigate global opportunities with vigilance, responsibility, and a strong understanding of their rights and protections.
