Advisory: Asynchronous Learning Modality (August 18-20)

In light of the significant impact of flooding in many areas and to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, all learning activities will continue to be conducted asynchronously from August 18 to August 20. During this period, learners are encouraged to access learning materials, complete assigned tasks, and submit requirements according to the instructions and deadlines provided by their teachers via MS Teams.

We understand that some learners may be experiencing challenges due to flooding, power interruptions, internet connectivity issues, or displacement. Please prioritize your safety and communicate with your teachers and advisers if these circumstances affect your ability to participate in learning activities.

𝓐𝓛𝓛 𝓗𝓐𝓘𝓛 𝓣𝓞 𝓞𝓤𝓡 𝓑𝓔𝓛𝓞𝓥𝓔𝓓 𝓐𝓢𝓢𝓤𝓜𝓟𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝!

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our loving Mother and faithful guide.
Mary's life teaches us to trust in God's plan, even in times of uncertainty and difficulty. Through her example, we are reminded that true peace comes from surrendering our hearts to His loving will.

As we celebrate this special feast, we remember in our prayers our brothers and sisters affected by the heavy rains and flooding. May Mary, our Mother, wrap them in her mantle of protection, comfort them in their struggles, and strengthen them with hope. Let us unite our hearts in prayer and entrust them to the loving care of our Lord through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Heavenly Father,
On this Solemnity of the Assumption, we thank You for the gift of Mary, our Blessed Mother, whose faith and obedience continue to guide us closer to You.
We entrust to Your loving care all those affected by the heavy rains and flooding. Protect them from danger, comfort them in their fears, and grant them strength and hope amid their trials.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, fill our hearts with compassion and generosity, that we may bring Your love and light to those who are suffering.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You who calmed the storm on the sea, calm the storms in our communities now.
Protect those in danger, strengthen rescue workers, and provide shelter, food, and medicine to all who are displaced.
Comfort those who have lost homes or loved ones, and heal the sick and injured.

Blessed Mother Mary, you who faced uncertainty, pain, and danger with faith, walk with us through these flooded streets and sleepless nights.
Teach us to trust as you trusted, to hope as you hoped, and to keep saying "yes" to God even in the flood.
Intercede for our families, our neighbors, and our nation, that we may be led to safety and peace.

Holy Spirit, guide our leaders and volunteers with wisdom and compassion.
Move hearts to generosity, and bind our communities together in charity.

We believe, O God, that this suffering is not the end.
Bring us from every trial to the joy of Your kingdom.

Community Care and Recovery Period

As we observe this Community Care and Recovery Period, all school-related activities, including onsite and online and asynchronous activities, assessments, performance tasks, and submission deadlines, will be temporarily suspended from August 12-14, 2026.

We encourage everyone to use this time to attend to immediate needs, support family members, and focus on recovery and well-being.

Further updates will be communicated through official school channels. We continue to pray for the safety, well-being, and recovery of everyone affected by the flooding.
