CELEBRATING PERPETUAL EXCELLENCE: 50 YEARS OF OPENING DOORS πŸ’™πŸ’›

Good morning, College of Criminology students!

The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna officially launches its 50th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Alonte Sports Arena, BiΓ±an, Laguna.

50 years. One incredible journey. And now, it’s our turn to be part of the next chapter.

Students can look forward to an exciting opening performance, symbolic doorway ceremony, celebration of 50 years of Perpetual Excellence, and a special LIVE performance by Over October.

πŸ“Œ REGISTRATION REMINDERS

Registration for student attendees is until Thursday, September 17, at 12:00 NN.

Please take note:

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited venue capacity.

Students must register using their official UPHS email address.

Registrations using personal email addresses may not be approved.

Your attendance is confirmed only after your registration has been approved.

Once approved, you will receive an event QR code. Please save it on your phone and present it upon entry.

A valid UPHS Student ID must also be presented for verification.

⏰ EVENT SCHEDULE
3:30 PM – Call time for UPHSL Executives for the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
4:00 PM – Student entry to the Alonte Sports Arena
5:00 PM – Official start of the program

Five performances are also being prepared for the prelude program, coordinated by Dr. Peter. All SSC members are requested to assist in ushering the students.

Transportation arrangements include a bus for student attendees and a coaster for MANCOM members and other department heads.

From September 7 to 11, 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna celebrated five memorable days of competition, talent, friendship, teamwork, and school spirit as part of its historic 50th Anniversary University Week.

For the College of Criminology, U-WEEK 2026 became more than a series of games and activities. It became a collection of moments that showed the determination, discipline, unity, and heart of our students. From the opening activities and motorcade to the courts, fields, stages, and other competitions, our students proudly represented the college and gave their best in every opportunity.

Our athletes battled through basketball, volleyball, football, chess, and other events, facing every match with courage and sportsmanship. There were victories worth celebrating, close games that kept everyone on their feet, difficult losses that tested our strength, and semifinal and championship battles that reminded us what it means to keep fighting until the very end. πŸ€πŸβš½β™ŸοΈ

Beyond sports, our talented students also took the stage and showcased their creativity and confidence through performances such as the Sing and Dance Competition and Battle of the Bands. Every performance was another reminder that our students carry not only strength and discipline, but also passion, creativity, and talent. πŸŽ€πŸŽΆπŸ’ƒπŸŽΈ

But perhaps the most meaningful part of University Week was what happened beyond the scores, trophies, and rankings. It was seeing classmates cheering for one another, faculty and staff supporting our students, officers and volunteers working behind the scenes, and the entire EDUCRIM community standing together through every victory and every challenge.

Some moments ended with medals and trophies. Others ended with lessons, friendships, and memories. But each one became part of a bigger storyβ€”one that we will remember long after the final whistle, final buzzer, and final applause.

To our student-athletes, performers, coaches, faculty, staff, officers, marshals, volunteers, alumni, classmates, and supporters, thank you for making this University Week meaningful and memorable. Every effort, whether seen or unseen, contributed to the success of this celebration.

As we look back through these recap photos, may we remember not only the results, but the laughter, the exhaustion, the excitement, the teamwork, and the moments when we stood together as one community.
