The Dominador Bance Memorial Foundation Incorporated aims to support indigent but deserving students in the pursuit of their tertiary education. It shall also provide adequate funds and supplies to private researchers who may offer plausible and beneficial applications. Also, DBMFI shall provide medical aid to the needy especially the aged ones. It shall also grant liberal assistance to affected c

ommunities/families/individuals in case of tragedies and calamities. Finally, the Foundation shall establish support mechanism to livelihood projects for the poor and underserved through financial assistance. The DBMFI has served Full Time Scholars from the city of Pagadian specially SMC, WMSU Midsalip, ZSMIT as well as from Zamboanga del Sur province. The Foundation provides full tuition fee to these deserving students plus book allowance.

We are pleased to inform everyone that the Dominador Bance Memorial Foundation, Inc. (DBMFI) is now on another year of searching for underprivileged but deserving high school students to compose the 9th Batch of Scholars. In this year’s selection, the foundation is focusing on searching for deserving students who may be enrolled in the different colleges and universities in the city.

As part of the selection process, the students who graduated from selected high schools, with the academic distinction of at least “With Honors” during the school year 2021-2022 will be invited to take the face-to-face qualifying examination on July 27, 2022 (Wednesday) at 8:00 AM at Pagadian City Science High School, Tuburan District, this city.

Rest assured that the testing center will follow the requirements in compliance with the strict implementation of the health protocols mandated by the IATF. Thus, the safety and well-being of the qualified participants are of most priority.

We would like to request to upload the following requirements upon registration:
1. Scanned copy of Grade 12 Report Card signed by the Adviser and the School Principal (front and back); and
2. A scanned copy of the Parent’s Income Tax Return (Form 2316) – if not applicable, a certificate of indigency from the office of the Barangay will do.
Successful qualifiers will be notified via email or phone call by our Selection Committee members regarding the details of the abovementioned qualifying examination.
