The SOHMS 1st General Assembly was successfully held on August 14, 2026, at the SCC Youth Development Center. ✨

It was a productive gathering of the Society of Hospitality Management Students — uniting students, officers, and faculties to set things in motion for an exciting semester ahead. From laying out the organization's goals and upcoming activities to fostering camaraderie among members, the assembly truly embodied the spirit of unity and service.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, participated, and made their voice heard. Special thanks to our adviser and the SOHMS officers for organizing the event and steering the organization toward a meaningful and productive year.

The Third Year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students successfully conducted their Bartending and Flairtending Workshop yesterday (August 15, 2026) at the Banquet Hall, Saint Columban College – Buenavista Campus. 🍸✨

The workshop was expertly instructed by Mr. Cris Uriel Villegas, whose passion and skill truly inspired the participants. It was smoothly facilitated by Ms. May Ann Langam, together with the dedicated Officers of Bar Management, who ensured that everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. 🤩

From mastering classic cocktail preparations to learning impressive flairtending techniques, the students gained hands-on experience that will surely serve them well in the hospitality industry. The energy was high, the learning was deep, and the future of hospitality looks even brighter! 💛

The FRONT OFFICE UNIFORM DRESS CODE for all Hospitality Management students will officially be implemented tomorrow, Monday, July 13, 2026.

Please be reminded that this dress code will be strictly observed EVERY MONDAY. A thorough uniform inspection will be conducted to ensure we maintain our corporate standards, as proper attire is a sign of professionalism.

• ALTERNATIVE ATTIRE: Students who do not have their Front Office Uniform yet are strictly required to wear the regular school uniform instead.

• PROCUREMENT: For those who want to purchase or have their uniform made, please proceed to the tailoring shop located above the YDC (Youth Development Center).

Saint Columban College – Society of Hospitality Management Students (SOHMS) officially kicked off Academic Year 2026–2027 by welcoming freshmen and returning students through Pag Abi-Abi 2026, held last June 29 at the Emmanuel Building, Banquet Hall.

The event was filled with good vibes and meaningful moments. From the preliminaries and inspiring messages from our faculty, to fun initiation drinking, games with a twist, and the election of the new first-year representatives. Laughter, energy, and connection filled the room as everyone came together as one SOHMS family.

Pag Abi-Abi 2026 reminded us that this journey isn’t just about classes — it’s about friendships, shared experiences, and growing together as we start another
year of learning and memories in the making. 🥳💛💜
