Good news, mga ka-DepEd!

Mas pinalawak na natin ang Kinder cut-off age. Utos ito ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na mas gawing accessible ang Kindergarten sa ating mga starting learners.

Sa Bagong Pilipinas, bukas ang classrooms ng DepEd sa mas maraming Kinder learners.

Just in!
New guidelines have been established regarding the cut-off age for kindergarten learners. This policy aims to ensure that all children are adequately prepared for formal schooling. (DepEd Order 015, s2025, dated June 4,2025)

Age qualifications:

1. Learner should be five years old by October 31, 2025 or,

2. Learner will turn five (5) years old from November 1 to December 31, 2025, on the condition that the learners shall have completed an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program for one school year and shall undergo the Philippine Early Childhood and Development (ECD) Checklist during the enrolment period until the first week of the school year

Requirements: birth certificate, accomplished Basic Education Enrollment Form (BEEF), Certificate of Completion/attendance of the learner's previous ECCD program experience (if applicable)
