This September 25, 2026, let’s celebrate Family Day by taking a moment to appreciate the people who make our lives meaningful—our family. 🏡💚

Through “A Message from the Heart,” every Girl Scout is invited to express their love and gratitude through a simple but meaningful message, letter, collage, or video.

Sometimes, the smallest words can carry the biggest meaning. So this Family Day, say it from the heart, share the love, and remind your family how much they mean to you. ☘️

HOW TO JOIN:
1. Create your chosen output for your family.

1️⃣ ☘️A Girl Scout’s Honor is to be Trusted.

To awaken the spirit of trustworthiness embodied in the First Scout Law, The Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) of Misamis Occidental National High School recently shared a team-building activity on July 3, 2026.

Game Description:

(1) Scouts are paired together. (2) One scout is blindfolded while their partner guides them through a designated course using only verbal instructions.

-Throughout the game, other participants provide misleading directions to create distractions. The blindfolded scout must stay focused and trust only their assigned partner's voice to successfully reach the finish.

💚 This activity strengthens trust, communication, active listening, and teamwork while teaching scouts to stay focused, make wise choices amid distractions, and rely on trustworthy guidance to achieve a common goal.

Together, we continue to grow as responsible Scouts and future leaders, living out the values that unite us in service and friendship. ☘️♾️⚜️

☘️NATIONAL DENGUE AWARENESS MONTH☘️
‘CLEAN-UP DRIVE’

Recently, on June 15, 2026, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) of Misamis Occidental National High School actively participated in a community clean-up drive in observance of National Dengue Awareness Month.

Through genuine care for the environment and a commitment to community safety, organizations worked together to clear stagnant water and eliminate mosquito breeding sites around the campus and nearby areas.

🇵🇭128th Philippine Independence Day🇵🇭

In commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Misamis Occidental Council, convened at the Oroquieta City Plaza to pay tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and enduring patriotism of the heroes who fought for the nation's freedom.

The celebration was attended by Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of MONHS and MOSTHS, GSP Misamis Occidental Council President- Mrs. Ida E. Talictic, Misamis Occidental Council Treasurer- Mrs. Mary Ann N. Bantilan, Misamis Occidental Council Executive- Helen T.Revil.

Standing united, today's scouts prove that the fire of patriotism burns just as brightly in the youths of today.

A ‘KICKOFF’ TO THIS SCHOOL YEAR!☘️ ⚜️

To officially open this school year, we warmly welcomed our newest members to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – MONHS during our recent recruitment activity! 💚⚜️

Afterwards, we held our first General Meeting. For a short moment, scouts were filled with meaningful conversations and opportunities to strengthen friendships while making new connections.

Thank you! to everyone who stepped up, joined the activity, and made our very first gathering a huge success.
