BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | Day 5

Day 5 of the Bayanihan Brigada Eskwela at Misamis Occidental Science and Technology School was successfully conducted through the collective efforts of various stakeholders and community volunteers. The activity was actively participated in by 4Ps beneficiaries, residents from Maular, Aloran, Catarman, Conat, and other supportive stakeholders who generously shared their time and effort for the improvement of the school environment.

The volunteers were assigned to different work areas, including the back portions of Rooms 1–10, the new stock room, the Junior High School Computer Room, and the Supply Office. Equipped with bolos, rakes, and grass cutters, they carried out cleaning, clearing, and maintenance activities to ensure that these areas were safe, clean, and ready for the opening of classes.

The day's activities reflected the true spirit of bayanihan as participants worked hand in hand, demonstrating unity, cooperation, and dedication toward supporting quality education. Their contributions greatly enhanced the school's physical environment and helped create a more conducive learning space for learners.

The successful implementation of the final day of Brigada Eskwela was managed and supervised by the Senior High School teachers headed by Mrs. Elna Be. Teves, together with Mrs. Maria Benjie Ann Cabasag, Mrs. Mary Christine Abenes, and other faculty members. Through their leadership, coordination, and commitment, the activities were carried out smoothly and efficiently.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, stakeholders, and teachers whose invaluable support and participation contributed to the success of the 2026 Nationwide Bayanihan Brigada Eskwela.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 4

Day 4 of Brigada Eskwela 2026 was filled with teamwork, generosity, and community spirit as volunteers came together to help prepare MOSTHS for another meaningful school year.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the volunteers from Purok 6 and 7 of Brgy. Pines, San Vicente Alto, and Apil, Oroquieta City for dedicating their time and effort in cleaning and improving the SHS Comfort Rooms and Shower Rooms, the Old Senior High School Building, and the grounds and classrooms of the New SHS Building.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to AFP Sinampongan for their volunteerism and unwavering support. Likewise, thank you to Alano and Sons for your generous donation.

Special thanks to our team leaders and hardworking team members for facilitating and coordinating the day's activities.

To all our volunteers, partners, stakeholders, teachers, parents, and community members, thank you for sharing your time and effort. Every helping hand reminds us that education is a shared responsibility and that together, we can build a brighter future for our learners.

YESTERDAY'S BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 3
"Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman"

DAY 3 – June 3, 2026

The third day of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Misamis Occidental Science and Technology High School was successfully conducted through the active participation and cooperation of various stakeholders and community volunteers. This activity forms part of the nationwide Brigada Eskwela campaign, which promotes the spirit of bayanihan and community involvement in preparing schools for the opening of classes.

On June 3, 2026, volunteers from Purok 3 Pines, Purok 4 Pines, Culpan, Sta. Ana, SVB, Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Alumni Associations, and other stakeholders generously offered their time, effort, and resources to support the school's preparation activities. Their presence demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring that the school environment remains clean, safe, and conducive to learning.

The volunteers were assigned to clean and maintain the backyard, front yard, and comfort rooms of Rooms 14 and 15, as well as the surroundings of Room 13 and the unfinished building. Equipped with bolos, rakes, grass cutters, and brooms, they worked diligently in clearing overgrown grasses, collecting fallen leaves, sweeping pathways, and removing debris around the school premises. These efforts greatly improved the cleanliness and appearance of the assigned areas.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Mr. Mark Lester Penaso and Mr. David Rey M. Catane, our Faculty Team Leaders, and their respective team members for their unwavering support, guidance, and active participation. Your collective efforts and teamwork played a vital role in making today's Brigada Eskwela activities productive and successful.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers and stakeholders whose invaluable contributions helped make the activity meaningful and effective. "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman"

Day 2 of Brigada Eskwela 2026 was another meaningful day of service, teamwork, and community spirit at Misamis Occidental Science and Technology High School.

With the help of our volunteers from Purok 1 Pines, Purok 2 Pines, Zamora, Conat, SSLG, and Barangay Tanod, we successfully cleaned and improved the areas behind the Administration Office, School Library, School Kitchen, and Comfort Rooms. Your willingness to lend a hand shows that education truly becomes stronger when the community works together.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Oroquieta City for joining us and generously sharing their time and effort. Your volunteerism and commitment to service are greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, the renovation of the HE Building and the 2nd Floor of the SHS Building continues as we prepare better and safer learning spaces for our learners.

A special thank you as well to our faculty Team Leaders, Mrs. Jivi Min Estrada and Mrs. Juvilyn Daloga-og, together with their team members, for facilitating and ensuring the success of today's activities.

To all our volunteers, stakeholders, teachers, parents, and partners, thank you for being part of this journey. Every broom swept, every hour shared, and every helping hand extended brings us closer to a school that our learners can be proud of.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF | Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman

The successful kick-off and first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 remind us that quality education is made possible through the unity and support of the entire community.

We sincerely thank the Barangay Pines Officials headed by Brgy. Capt. Khai Relle BC and the SK Council, Purok 5 Pines, Barangay Buenavista, Dullan Sur, MOSTHS SSLG, and MOSTHS Team Leaders for generously sharing their time, effort, and resources in preparing our school for the opening of classes.

This meaningful activity was led by our school leaders, School Principal I Mr. Vergil Lluvido Alon, JHS Department Head Mrs. Joshiel S. Baldecañas , and SHS Department Head Mrs. Susit A. Tilos, whose commitment continues to inspire our school community.

We are also grateful to our teachers, parents, stakeholders, and community partners who signed the Wall of Commitment, a symbol of our shared responsibility and dedication to providing a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for every student.
