We are beyond proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of Angelica Joy E. Ambrosio for winning 𝟏𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆 - 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 at the recently concluded Regional Festival of Talents 2025 - SNED Abilympics held in Borongan City, Eastern Samar!

As such, she will be competing in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur to represent Region 8 for the Story Interpretation in FSL - Elementary this 3rd week of May 2025 in the National Festival of Talents 2025 - SNED Abilympics.

Your fellow students and we teachers together with your coach-Ma'am Rena Silva is celebrating on cloud nine as all your training has paid off.

The recent DFOT – SNED Abilympics saw the deaf students from Ormoc City SPED Integrated School display their talent in story interpretation, earning multiple awards and bringing pride to their school.

In the elementary category, Angelica Joy E. Ambrosio secured first place and will advance to the regional competition to represent Ormoc City Division at the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT). Additionally, Princess Racaza, Mary Joy Pabilan, Rhyne Imperial, and Nicolette Pening ranked second, third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

In the secondary category, Wesley Sidaya delivered a heartfelt story interpretation that captivated the judges, earning him first place and surpassing competitors from New Ormoc City National High School. Meanwhile, Ruby Precillas also performed well, finishing fifth in her category.

From creating engaging lesson plans to nurturing and supporting students, our teachers go above and beyond every day. They are the unsung heroes of our society, and it was an honor to recognize and celebrate their invaluable contributions.

On this special day, let us all take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers for their unwavering commitment to shaping the minds of our youth. Thank you for your passion, dedication, and steadfast belief in the potential of every student.

The Deaf students of OCSIS-PFTD joined the rest of the school in the conduct of Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Girls Scouts of the Philippines yesterday, October 2.

For the first time, the deaf students of the school experienced the element of a scouter and the basic rules of BSP and GSP. Together with the students is the Field Scout Executive of BSP Ormoc City Council, Sir Jayson Chua.

We thank the parents for letting their students join us and the teachers for making this event successful.

𝕃𝕆𝕆𝕂! 🔍

The deaf students participated in the 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 today at Ipil Central School. They led the prayer and Philippine National Anthem—showing their capability to go hand-in-hand with the rest of the scouts present.

The students were joined by their supportive teachers: Ma'am Mary Jane O. Gabucan, Ma'am Donna Irene Larrazabal, and Ma'am Jacqueline P. Blanco.
