𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | 𝗔 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘

Today, October 2, 2026, fellow teachers, future educators from the College of Education, and the High School Department, all gathered at Western Leyte College gymnasium at exactly 9:00 am to celebrate a Holy Mass in honor of 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗗𝗔𝗬. As seen in today's gathering, it was a beautiful moment for students and faculty to come together, pray, and give thanks for the educators who continually guide and inspire us.

Western Leyte College of Ormoc proudly joined the 𝟰𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆 today, September 19, 2026, at Anilao Bridge to Brgy. South, Ormoc City, in partnership with SM Center Ormoc and SM Cares.

Through the SM Green Movement, WLC students and volunteers took collective action to protect our oceans, waterways, and coastlines — proving that the true WLCian spirit of bayanihan and service is alive when communities unite for the environment.

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗦

The cheers have quieted, the courts have emptied, and the final whistle has sounded. Yesterday, Intramurals 2026 came to a close, bringing an unforgettable chapter of competition, camaraderie, and school spirit to its final page.

Beyond the medals and victories were the moments that truly mattered—the friendships forged, the challenges faced, the victories celebrated, and the lessons learned. Every athlete who stepped onto the field, court, table, or stage carried the pride of their department and gave their all until the very end.

As the games conclude, the spirit we ignited lives on. Intramurals 2026 may be over, but the memories, friendships, and fighting spirit will continue long after the final game. Until the next battle!

The table became a battlefield as COED’s Doubles players stepped into the heat of competition at Intramurals 2026. With lightning-fast serves, explosive smashes, and relentless rallies, every exchange demanded precision, composure, and courage.

The spotlight of Intramurals 2026 fell on the College of Education Department as two of its finest representatives, 𝐀𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠, earned the titles of Mr. and Ms. 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗖. Their triumph was not simply about winning a title — it was about embodying the pride, elegance, and charisma that COED stands for.

Ara’s radiant smile and graceful presence captivated the audience, while Clienton’s confident poise and magnetic charm drew admiration from all corners of the venue. Together, they became the faces of COED’s brilliance, showing that photogenic appeal is more than appearance — it is the reflection of character, authenticity, and the spirit of education carried with dignity.

This recognition highlights the department’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who shine in every arena, whether in academics, athletics, or the cultural stage.
