CSC Election to start tomorrow, new scheme underway

The Office of the Student Affairs just released the reformed voting system for the upcoming Central Student Council (CSC) aspiring leaders for the School Year 2021-2022 in Good Shepherd Academy of Victoria, Inc.
The date of the said election will be tomorrow, March 19 (Friday) until March 24 (Wednesday) thru the implementation of three voting platforms by the administration. The casting of votes will begin from 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. every day of the mentioned dates.
For Grade School Department (Grade 1 to Grade 6), they will use the traditional CSC Official Ballot. The ballots will be put in every learner’s module plastic envelope. Teacher Grace Jose, the Grade School Coordinator will oversee the election from the grade school level.
In the Junior High School Department (Grade 7 to Grade 10), each student will maximize Genyo e-learning (the system which store the student’s learning profile and dashboards). They need to log on to their respective accounts to push through with voting.
The Genyo e-learning has been used as a voting platform last year. The system will show the students who did not submit their online ballots.
On the other hand, the Senior High School Department (Grade 11) will employ the Google Forms plarform. The Google Form contains the official ballot and it would automatically summarize and pool the results. The SHS coordinator is Ms. Steffany B. Villanueva
According to Mr. Kim Cristian Bagos, Student Affairs Coordinator (SAC), the administration set the voting period for six (6) days instead of one (1) to accomodate unforseen circumstances on the part of the student voters. "Our class advisers will give reminders about the voting process and contact those who were not able to cast their votes," he added.
The official candidates have been starting to campaign online while presenting their respective advocacies as an aspiring leader for the studentry. Meanwhile, the SHS candidates’ campaign videos have been uploaded in the GSA – Office of the Student Affairs page.
"Now, that we're experiencing some challenges and changes in our educational system. I think during this time, our role would just be the same. The only difference is that, we, the CSC would be EXTRA in everything we do. What I meant is that, we are going to double our efforts as we try to reach every students and help our partners (teachers). The CSC should be creative and think of a way on how to make the students feel that their voice (CSC) and the excitement or fun while learning is here once again." Kristal Mae Abucal, the presidential candidate for SHS had uttered during an online interview.
The Office of the Student Affairs assured that the voting process will reflect transparency and honesty.
