Mayor Ilagan delivered an inspiring message to the Sabang ES Alumni during the 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming, April 20. The event, which saw former students from various generations coming together to reminisce and celebrate their alma mater, was marked by Mayor Ilagan's poignant words that resonated deeply with attendees.
Addressing the gathering at the Sabang ES Gymnasium, Mayor Ilagan took the opportunity to reflect on the significance of education, unity, and the bonds forged in childhood.
"If you want to go fast, you go alone.
If you want to go far, mas malayo, mas marami kayong maabot, mas marami kayong magagawa,YOU GO TOGETHER. Hindi nโyo kailangan maging Mayor at maging Vice Mayor kayo, kailngan nโyo lang ng malasakit, ng malasakit sa inyong paaralang pinagmulan," Mayor Ilagan said.
With Mayor Ilagan's inspiring words, they left with a shared resolve to continue nurturing the spirit of community and excellence instilled in them by Sabang Elementary School.
