Reunited in Color: We're Bringing the Spirit of Carnival to Homecoming!
First and foremost, a massive commendation and huge congratulations to our predecessors, Batch 2001 Dosmiluno! You did an incredible job hosting this year’s edition of Alumni Homecoming. I believe everyone is still riding high from the global vibes of Summer Around The World and the electric energy of Havana Nights. You haven't just inspired us, you’ve challenged us to hit that same high mark.
Now, the torch has been passed. Having officially received the Key of Responsibility, we are ready to dive in. We are committed to fulfilling our duties with a determination to achieve the same level of success, and we plan to pass this responsibility on with flying colors.
As we look toward next year, we wanted a theme that goes beyond just a date on the calendar. We wanted a feeling - an explosion of life, heritage, and the pure, unadulterated joy of reuniting with old friends. That is why we are thrilled to announce our official theme: Caribbean Carnival!
The Caribbean Carnival is world-famous for its vibrant palette: feathers, beads, and radiant costumes. To us, these colors represent the diverse paths we’ve all taken since graduation. While we may have scattered across different industries, countries, and life stages, we are coming back together to form one brilliant, cohesive mosaic.
The Caribbean Carnival is a masterclass in diversity. It’s a tapestry of different islands, rhythms, and traditions that come together to create one massive, harmonious celebration. We come from different timelines, different career paths, and different corners of the globe, but when we return, we form one spectacular spectrum of shared history
Historically, Carnival celebrates freedom and the triumph of the human spirit. After years of navigating careers and personal lives, Homecoming should be a place of release and rejuvenation. We are choosing to celebrate our survival, our successes, and our enduring friendships with the high-energy rhythm of drum beats and dance!
The Caribbean Carnival is a world-renowned symbol of inclusivity. It doesn't matter where you are from; when the music starts, everyone is part of the parade. This theme ensures that every returning graduate feels the warmth and hospitality for which the islands are known.
Next year, we aren’t just hosting an event; we’re hosting a movement. Expect a celebration that is as rhythmic and soulful as the islands themselves. From the pulse of the drums to the kaleidoscope of our parade, we are designing an experience that captures the high-octane joy of being back together.
So, get ready to jump in line! If you’re far away, this is your sign to book that ticket early. This is your call to shed the gray suits of the professional world. Come home, hit the beach, and reconnect with the family and friends.
