The Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy, Inc. (ABCCA) Opol Community Learning Center received a surprise visit from the Opol Municipal Police Station on Monday morning, August 10.

The inspection was led by PMAJ Antonio Luy Jr., Chief of Police, as part of the police stationโ€™s efforts to help ensure the safety and security of schools amid growing safety concerns in educational institutions across the Philippines.

Police personnel conducted a bag inspection among students, checking for prohibited items such as illegal drugs, fi****ms, and other weapons.

No prohibited items were found during the inspection.

ABCCA appreciates the Opol Municipal Police Station for its proactive efforts to help keep the learning environment safe and secure for students and staff.

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE | AUGUST 8, 2026

Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy (ABCCA) successfully conducted its Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) for Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners on August 8, 2026, at the Opol Community Learning Center (CLC).

The conference served as a meaningful venue for teachers and parents to discuss the learnersโ€™ academic performance, attendance, behavior, progress, and overall development. It also strengthened the partnership between the school and the parents in ensuring that our learners receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their educational goals.

ABCCA sincerely appreciates the active participation and continued support of our parents and teachers. Through strong collaboration and shared commitment, we continue to create a supportive learning environment that promotes the success and well-being of every learner.

On July 30, 2026, the Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of CLC-Opol actively participated in the Nutrition Month Celebration by showcasing their creativity through a Nutrition Month Drawing Contest.

The activity encouraged students to express the importance of healthy eating, proper nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle through art. Their drawings reflected meaningful messages promoting balanced diets, nutritious food choices, and overall wellness.

๐ŸŒฟ MENRO Conducts Solid Waste Management Seminar at ABCCA Community Learning Center โ€“ Opol

Today, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Opol successfully conducted a Seminar on Solid Waste Management at the ABCCA Community Learning Center โ€“ Opol, with the active participation of our learners. The seminar strengthened environmental awareness by promoting proper waste segregation, recycling, composting, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Start each day with a grateful heart, a focused mind, and the courage to learn something new .

On July 13, 2026, Monday, we held our morning convocation before proceeding to our respective classes. The program started with the singing of the Pambansang Awit, followed by a prayer. Afterwards, we sang the Himig ng ABCCA and participated in an energizer to boost the students' energy and prepare them for the day's learning activities.

The morning convocation promoted discipline, unity, positivity, and readiness among the students before the start of their classes.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Municipal Disability Affairs Office (MDAO), headed by Chyrel B. Racines, PWD Welfare Focal Person, for conducting the Disability Equality Training for our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.

This meaningful activity aimed to raise awareness about the importance of respecting the rights, dignity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities (PWDs), while promoting empathy, understanding, and the prevention of bullying within our school community.
