Sub Theme: "Food at Nutrisyon Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na pagkain, Karapatan natin!"โจ๏ธ
Focus ingredient: EGG๐ณ - A Nutritious, affordable, and versatile food!
๐ Mechanics for the Nutrition Month!
1. Objectives ~
๐ To promote the importance of Egg As A Protein, Rich, Accessible, And Affordable Food.
๐ To encourage students to create Nutritious Egg-based dishes that reflet the Nutrition Month theme.
๐ To foster Creativity, Teamwork, and Awareness of Food Safety practices.
2. Participants ๐ฅ
๐ Open to Grade 10 CCBED - Main.
๐ Participants must form a team with 9 members.
๐ Each team MUST provide a menu card for their dish to be displayed DURING the judging period.
3. Dish guidanceโจ๏ธ
Egg MUST be the main ingredient or the dish highlightโผ๏ธ
The dish should be:
- Nutritious๐ฝ
- Affordable (Cost effective)
- Originality or a creative twist on a Traditional Recipe๐
๐ Dish should serve 3 participants
Cooking time only have maximum of 1 hour.๐ฉโ๐ณ๐จโ๐ณ
NO Pre-cooked ingredients allowed.โผ๏ธ
4. Materials and Equipment๐ฝ
Participants MUST bring their own:
- Ingredients
- Cooking utensils and stove
- Service plates or containers๐ฝ
๐ The school may provide a prep table and access to water.
5. Presentation๐ฅ
Each team MUST present their dish to the judges โ give at least 1-2 minute explanation of the dish that the participants made, Including: Nutritional benefits of EGGS and how the dish supports food and nutrition security
๐ Criteria for judging
Taste and flavor - overall palatability and balance - (30%)
Nutritional value - health benefits especially protein and essential nutrients - (25%)
Creativity and use of EGG - innovative, appealing or unique use of EGG - (20%)
Presentation and plating - visual appeal and neatness - (15%)
Food safety and teamwork - cleanliness, hygine, and cooperation - (10%)
TOTAL OF 100%

In celebration of National Arts Month, students from Grade 4 to Junior High showcased their skills in an exciting Cooking Competition! ๐ฉโ๐ณ๐จโ๐ณ From preparation to presentation, participants wowed the judges ๐งโ๐ซ๐ฉโ๐ซ with their teamwork, creativity, and culinary expertise. Congratulations to all who took part in this flavorful event! ๐ฅ๐๐
