‎Mula sa pagiging bagong miyembro ng Philippine Football Federation (PFF), ginulat ng Olongapo City-Zambales Football Association (OCZFA) ang buong torneyo nang walisin ang Group B ng PFF U16 Boy‘s Championship National Qualifiers.

‎"Masaya kasi for the first time napunta yung OCZFA sa final four. History na po ito para sa amin," ani moving head coach na si Jerome Teope.

Yumuko ang Olongapo City nang kapusin na makausad sa finals matapos ang semifinal round loss kontra sa powerhouse Iloilo-Guimaras Regional Football Association (IGRFA) dahilan upang bumaba sila sa battle for bronze kontra sa Negros Occidental RFA (NORFA).

‎Bagaman hindi pinalad na makasungkit ng medalya ang OCZFA matapos matalo ng NORFA, 1-6, nagmarka agad ng magandang impresyon at nagpakita ng husay at determinasyon ang koponan sa kanilang unang pagsabak sa pambansang kompetisyon.

‎"Dati isip lang namin, dream lang to. Pero ngayon, national stage," masayang banggit ni Coach Teope.

‎Dagdag pa ni Teope, itinuturing na bonus na lamang ang anumang magiging resulta ng kanilang mga laro—panalo man o talo—dahil ang pinakamalaking tagumpay na nila ay ang makasali at makarating sa Final Four, lalo’t ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon nila sa national stage.

"Kamusta ang mga bata?" Every time DAA asked this, he reminded us of our true purpose. He was a leader who never sought the stage, yet his impact on our children and our school was immeasurable. Today, we mourn a quiet giant whose love for education changed lives. Rest in peace, DAA. Your legacy lives on in every student we serve.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our Founder, Dr. Dante A. Ang.

Born into hardship, he rose by the very thing he would later give to thousands — an education.

He believed, without exception, that every Filipino had a right to learn, to rise, and to dream. That belief became a school. That school became a legacy. And that legacy now lives on in every life he touched.

We are forever grateful for the man, the father, the mentor, and the founder he was to us.

A life well-taught. A legacy well-lived.

His wake begins tomorrow, Wednesday, 06 May 2026, 10AM onwards at Tanguile Room in Manila Memorial Park - Sucat, Parañaque.

The funeral Mass will be held at 3PM on Friday, 08 May 2026, at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Joseph, Bamboo Organ Church, Las Piñas City.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to DAA's favorite charity, Hospicio de San Jose.
