𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

The program formally started earlier this day at 8 in the morning with an Assembly and Registration led by the officers, followed by an Opening Prayer and the Philippine National Anthem through an audio-visual presentation. The opening remarks were delivered by 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋. 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨, 𝐑𝐍, 𝐌𝐀𝐍, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐂𝐍, setting the tone for a day dedicated to learning and responsibility.

The training featured insightful lectures from distinguished resource speakers. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐀. 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐍, 𝐏𝐡𝐃 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑩𝑹𝑯𝑴𝑪, delivered comprehensive discussions on the International Patient Safety Goals, while 𝐌𝐚. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐄. 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚, 𝐑𝐍 presented the 2nd lecture on Infection Prevention.

Intermission numbers added inspiration and energy to the program, featuring performances by 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐢 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚,Conductor of Nightingale’s Choral, and 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞, 1st Year Batch Representative of PNSA–AMEC, showcasing the talents and unity of the nursing community.

The program is anticipated to end at 5:00 PM, continuing to build the foundation for their future nursing practice. Students actively participated and gained valuable insights into patient safety, accountability, and professional responsibility.

With the great responsibility that nursing carries in safeguarding lives, the Level 1 Nursing students of Ago Medical and Educational Center College of Nursing steps forward with compassion and unwavering commitment as they actively participate in the Patient Safety Training. Embracing the theme “𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣.”

Through the engaging discussions and scenario-based given examples, the students are learning the principles of patient safety. Each participation, helps them understand that patient safety is not merely a protocol, it is a promise to every life entrusted with their care. They are building the foundation of responsibility that will guide them in every heartbeat, every intervention, and every patient they serve.

To strengthen our organizational structure and support our student-centered initiatives, the 𝗣𝗡𝗦𝗔-𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗖 is now accepting registrations and Membership Fees for the current academic year.

As we strive for transparency and a reliable student database, we encourage everyone to participate.

📅 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: February 9 – February 16, 2026

💰 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝘀:
* Php 130.00 (Members)
* Php 150.00 (Officers)

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
1️⃣ 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧: Access the spreadsheet provided by your Block President and fill out your demographic data accurately.
2️⃣ 𝙋𝙖𝙮: Remit your payment to your designated Block Finance Officer.
3️⃣ 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚: An Official Receipt (OR) shall be issued immediately upon the formal remittance of the collected fees to the PNSA-AMEC Finance Officer to ensure transparency and accountability.

❗️Important Reminder:
* Kindly settle your membership fee within the given schedule to avoid inconvenience and ensure your active membership status.
* All students are mandated to be members of PNSA-AMEC as per Article III, Section 1, "Membership" of the PNSA-AMEC Constitution and By-Laws.
* Full payment of the membership fee will serve as a requirement of PNSA for the signing of clearance at the end of the semester.
