Early Conduct of the 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at NTNHS

Napo-Tuyak National High School successfully conducted the Early 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18,2026 from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM to ensure preparedness while minimizing disruption to regular class hours.

The activity was spearheaded by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team in collaboration with the SSLG, under the guidance of the teaching and non-teaching personnel. The drill was also witnessed and supported by the SPTA President and the SGC Co-Chairperson.

A total of 109 learners actively participated in the simulation, demonstrating their awareness of proper earthquake safety protocols and emergency response procedures. The drill also served as a venue to reiterate the importance of the “Drop, Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique during earthquakes and to strengthen the capacity and readiness of the school’s rescue teams in responding to emergencies and disasters.

The successful conduct of the drill reflects the school’s commitment to promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience among all stakeholders.

PAG-ALALA AT PAALALA

Noong Hunyo 12,1898, ipinaglaban ng ating mga bayani ang kalayaan gamit ang dugo, sakripisyo, at pagkakaisa. Ang kalayaang iyon ay hindi lang pagputol ng tanikala sa dayuhan- ito ay pangako na tayong mga Pilipino ang magpapasya para sa ating sariling kinabukasan.

Kung ang mga bayani ay nagkaisa kahit magkaiba ng rehiyon, wika, at paniniwala kaya rin natin ngayon. Ang kalayaan ay hindi natatapos sa pagwawagayway ng watawat tuwing Hunyo 12. Araw-araw itong sinusubok- tuwing pipili tayo ng paggalang kaysa paninira, ng katotohanan kaysa usap-usapan, ng bayan kaysa pansariling interes.

ORIENTATION DAY: NEW TERM, NEW ENERGY!

A general orientation and stakeholders assembly was conducted today for the start of the new learning system- the THREE-TERM POLICY and the NTNHS Learners' Handbook for the school year 2026-2027.

We walked through a detailed discussion and presentation of updates on class programs and schedules, attendance, assessment, code of conduct and learner support services. We shared our academic priorities, ARAL Program implementation, Brigada Eskwela updates, and projects for school improvement. Through fair and transparent voting, we elected the new set of officers for the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) and the Schools Governing Council.

With deep gratitude, we thanked the presence of our stakeholders- parents, learners and teachers.

This is more than an orientation- it's the start of a stronger collaboration for a safe, caring and excellent learning environment! ✨

Napo-Tuyak National High School is 100% ready for School Year 2026–2027 and warmly welcomes its 112 learners for the new academic year.

The first day of classes began with an opening program led by School Head Racquel D. Quiben, who delivered the message of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Orlando E. Manuel.

An ecumenical service followed, led by SPTA President Oscar Antonio, SGC Co-Chair Teresito Bugnay, Barangay Kagawad Joey Wagayan, and Parent Representative Carmelita Wagayan. They shared inspiring messages and valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of education, discipline, and perseverance in achieving learners’ goals.

With the support of parents, community stakeholders, and school personnel, NTNHS looks forward to a productive, meaningful, and successful School Year 2026–2027.
