LOOK || The BSHM 4th Year Students attended the most anticipated moment of the year, The Tribute to Parents and Graduating Students, held at the Chevalier’s Gym of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College of Guimba, Inc. on April 15, 2026.

This Year’s Theme is “𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”, a formal call to sincerely honor the individuals who serve as both the foundation and motivation of the students’ learning journey. LOOK || The BSHM 4th year students’ Internship Post-Conference happened at the OLSHCO Alumni Office on April 15, 2026 facilitated and organized by the BSHM OJT Coordinator, Sir. Kim Velasco. This serves as a critical academic and professional mechanism that transforms experiential learning into reflective practice.

The program provides a structured opportunity for interns to synthesize theoretical knowledge from hospitality management curricula with actual industry experiences encountered during their Internships.

The post-conference facilitates immediate feedback from industry partners and OJT Coordinator, enabling the correction of technical errors and the reinforcement of proper industry standards for the students.

Furthermore, this event develops critical thinking and self-assessment skills by requiring interns to analyze their performance, identify areas for improvement, and articulate strategies for professional growth. The process also serves as documentation of learning outcomes, supporting the academic requirements of the internship program while preparing students for the evaluative nature of actual hospitality operations.

The post-conference bridges the gap between academic instruction and industry expectations, ensuring that interns graduate not only with practical skills but with the reflective capacity essential for their professional and personal growth.

Beyond the Stitch: Seeing Clothes More Than Just Fashion

Last February 19, 2026, the 2nd Year BSHM students showcased creativity, confidence, and professionalism through the fashion presentation titled “Beyond the Stitch: Seeing Clothes More Than Just Fashion.”The event highlighted how clothing can express identity, purpose, and professionalism beyond its aesthetic value.

With elegance and outstanding presentation, Ms. Nicole Abad and Mr. John Christopher Benavidez were hailed as this year’s winners, truly embodying the essence of the theme.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the valuable insights and time of our esteemed judges: Mr. Harry Caisip (BSCrim Instructor), Ms. Tuzsha Mae Bondoc (BSOA Instructor), Ms. Kyla Melissa Pascual (Teacher Education Instructor), and Mr. Jerick Barnatia (BSIT Instructor). Their expertise and support greatly contributed to making the event meaningful and inspiring.

This remarkable event was made possible through the guidance and dedication of the subject instructor, Ms. Jhermae Anne P. Castro, under the course “THC6 – Professional Development”. Her belief that “presenting yourself professionally can take you miles”inspired students to go beyond creativity and embrace confidence, discipline, and professionalism.

Indeed, “Beyond the Stitch” was more than a fashion presentation. It was a celebration of growth, self-expression, and the future professionals of the hospitality industry. ✨
