DepEd-Alejandro E. Judan NHS Alejandro E. Judan NHS envisions itself to be the leading public high school in equipping the youth with Character, Excellence and Skills . Judan Sr. Arceli E.

From Inception to Transformation: The Journey of Alejandro E. Judan National High School (formerly Talugtug National High School Annex – Saverona)

The initiative to establish the first satellite high school in the town of Talugtug was set in motion in 2002 when Congressman Eleuterio E. Violago allocated funds for a 4-classroom building within the premises of Saverona Elementary School. Guided by

Mayor Quintino S. Caspillo Jr.'s leadership and through collaborative efforts involving barangay officials, led by Barangay Captain Ronnie Cargamento, alongside the School Principal of Talugtug NHS Main Campus, Arceli E. Interior, the inauguration of Talugtug National High School Annex-Saverona unfolded in 2012. The DepEd Regional Office's approval, dated June 11, 2012, cemented the official establishment, with the initial high school building welcoming 34 pioneering Grade 7 students, overseen by Ma’am Lailanie A. Maribbay as their adviser. In April 2013, the formal transfer of the Deed of Donation for the high school site measuring 9056 square meters of Talugtug National High School Annex - Saverona took place ceremoniously. Philip Andrada Judan, the son of Alejandro E. Judan Sr., joined by Juliet Andrada, a nephew, presented the Deed of Donation to Principal Arceli E. Interior of Talugtug National High School. A heartfelt tribute to Alejandro E. culminated in the school's enthusiastic embrace of the renaming proposal, leading to its transformation into "Alejandro E. Judan National High School." This renaming served as a warm and appreciative acknowledgment of Alejandro E. Judan Sr.'s invaluable contributions. Since its inception, the school has been steered by a line of capable leaders who have achieved remarkable success. These leaders include:

The school head supervises a team of seven permanent teachers in the Junior High School and an additional fiveteachers in the Senior High School. Furthermore, there is one Administrative Assistant II (SHS) and one utility worker whose funding is provided by the MOOE. Talugtug National High School offers a comprehensive curriculum, encompassing both regular Junior High School classes (Grade 7 to Grade 10) and a diverse array of offerings in Senior High School. These offerings span Academic Tracks such as GAS (General Academic Strand) and HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), as well as Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Tracks, including AFA (Agri Fishery Arts) and HE (Home Economics-Caregiving). The learners at Alejandro E. Judan National High School achieved remarkable success by securing numerous awards across various events and categories at the district, division, and even regional levels. A particularly noteworthy accomplishment was their victory in the "Sining sa Tanghalan: Balye sa Kalye" competition, where they emerged as the champions. This achievement not only reflects the talent and dedication of the students but also highlights the school's commitment to nurturing and promoting excellence in the arts and other areas of endeavor. Since the establishment of its Junior High School Department in 2012, the school has consistently experienced a growth in enrollment across multiple grade levels. What commenced with 34 learners has flourished to a current count of 331 learners. Similarly, the Senior High School Department, which commenced with 32 learners, has now expanded to accommodate 80 learners. On January 9, 2023, Sir Eudolfo A. Flores Jr. assumed the role of school head, heralding a fresh beginning for TNHS Annex as academic activities resumed after pandemic-related disruptions. One of Sir Flores's notable achievements occurred on May 22, 2023, culminating an almost 11-year wait. On this date, the official separation of Talugtug NHS Annex-Saverona from Talugtug National High School Main was approved, a momentous milestone. Regional Director May B. Eclar, PhD., CESO III, granted this approval. In the subsequent two months following the separation, the institution underwent a renaming process, transitioning from Talugtug National High School Annex - Saverona to Alejandro E. Judan National High School. The renaming garnered endorsement without objections from the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, substantiated by documentation dated August 8, 2023. A Municipal Ordinance was released on August 24, 2023, officially endorsing the school's renaming, supported by the Schools Division Office of Nueva Ecija and Regional Office III. With recent developments, it has come to light that the deed of donation awarded to the school in 2013 has been voided due to ownership and location discrepancies outlined in the Deed of Donation. Presently, the school is actively working with the City Government of Science City of Munoz to navigate this issue and facilitate the donation of the school lot, which is the current location of Alejandro E. Judan National High School, to DepEd. This step represents a crucial milestone in the institution's journey. The school community remains hopeful and prayerful, anticipating a favorable approval from the Science City of Munoz Government in support of Alejandro E. Judan NHS. This collaboration and resolution are essential for the continued growth and advancement of the institution, securing a stable and suitable location for its educational endeavors. As such, a new chapter awaits, ready to unfold for the institution in the years to come.
