To all parents and guardians: 🏫

❗ Regular eligibility:
Child must be 5 years of age on or before October 31, 2026 to enroll in Kindergarten.

✅ Extended eligibility (exceptional cases):
A child who will turn 5 between November 1 – December 31, 2026 may be allowed if:

1️⃣ He/She has completed 1 year in the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program at a recognized Child Development Center or Learning Center, or

2️⃣ Passes the Philippine Early Childhood Development (ECD) Checklist to be administered by Kindergarten teachers during the first week of school.

💡 Reminder: DepEd aims to ensure that every child is Kindergarten-ready while providing flexibility for young learners.

📣 Tip for parents: Prepare your child’s ECCD certificate or be ready for the ECD Checklist assessment for extended eligibility cases.
