𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙔 𝙋𝙄 𝘿𝘼𝙔!

In celebration of 𝙋𝙞 𝘿𝙖𝙮 (𝟑.𝟏𝟒), the 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝙉𝙇𝙉𝘾𝙃𝙎) joins the global community in recognizing the significance of the mathematical constant π. This day highlights the beauty and importance of mathematics, particularly its role in understanding patterns, measurements, and the world around us.
Through this celebration, the school continues to promote appreciation for mathematics and inspire students to value learning, curiosity, and discovery in the field of numbers.

In celebration of the 𝟑𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 of the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞 was held at New Lucena National Comprehensive High School, New Lucena, Iloilo on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with the theme: “𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝐷𝐺 𝑃𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠: 𝑀𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑎𝑡𝑎 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑙𝑙”.

Guided by their dedicated coach, Ms. Jonalyn P. Pedregosa, SST-I, with the help and support of the Mathematics teachers of NLNCHS, these learners showcased their excellence in the field of Statistics.

The Mathematics Club will be holding its Cleanup Drive x Reels-Making Contest on September 25, 2025, 4:00–5:00 PM at the New Lucena National Comprehensive High School.

𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀:

1. Participants
• Each grade level will have 12 participants.
• The students will be divided into 6 groups, with each group composed of 2 representatives from each grade level.

2. Cleanup Drive
• The Cleanup Drive will be conducted on September 25, 2025, from 4:00–5:00 PM.
• All groups are required to actively participate in the activity.

3. Reels-Making Contest
• Each group must produce a Reels video featuring their cleanup activity.
• Entries must be submitted to Julie Rose Solis through any of the following:

• Deadline for submission: September 26, 2025, at 12:30 PM.
• Posting of entries: September 27, 2025, on the official Mathematics Club page.
• Cut-off for likes: September 30, 2025.

4. Judging Criteria
Creativity & Originality – 35%
Clarity & Presentation – 25%
Teamwork & Participation – 20%
Audience Impact (1 reaction = 1 point) – 20%
Total = 100%

5. Awards
• Major Awards: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up
• Minor Award: Most Liked (Reels entry with the highest number of reactions)

6. Awarding Ceremony
• Winners will be announced and awarded on October 1, 2025.

Last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the NLNCHS Field was filled with excitement, energy, and teamwork as the Mathematics Club held its 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙮! 🎉📚 Students from different subcamps enjoyed fun games like Kadang, Tumbang Preso, Tangram, Spelling, Tintin-Times, Body Relay, Math Centipede, and Sack Race—proving that math can be learned and celebrated in the most enjoyable way. 🧮💡

A big congratulations to all subcamps who participated and gave their best in every challenge. The Awarding of Winners will be held on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓—see you there! 🏆✨

Last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the NLNCHS Gym became a place of gratitude and unity as the whole school community came together for 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙝, a thanksgiving mass initiated by the Mathematics Club.

The mass was attended by teachers and learners at school and served as a meaningful reminder to be thankful for the blessings of knowledge, friendship, and shared experiences.

Get ready, Mathletes! The Math Club proudly brings you the 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬—a day filled with exciting games, brain teasers, and challenges that will put your skills to the test while making learning fun. 🎉📚

𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔:

1. Participants
- All subcamps are required to participate in the event.
- Each subcamp must assign representatives for every game/station as instructed.
- Each participant will be given a game ticket, where they will collect a piece of yarn from each station.

2. Games/Stations
- The following games will be played simultaneously at different stations:
• Station 1: Kadang
• Station 2: Tumbang Preso
• Station 3: Tangram
• Station 4: Spelling
• Station 5: Tintin-Times
• Station 6: Body Relay
• Station 7: Math Centipede
• Station 8: Sack Race

3. Game Flow
- Subcamps will move from one station to another.
• At each station, the subcamp must:
• Play the assigned game.
• Answer the math question given by the station master.
• Collect the yarn provided after completing the task.

4. Scoring System
- Points will be awarded based on:
• The number of correct answers
• The total scores accumulated from all stations, which will determine each subcamp’s final score

5. Winning Criteria
- The Top 5 Subcamps with the highest accumulated scores at the end of the event will be declared winners.

6. Reminders:
- Wear the color of the shirt that corresponds to your subcamp.
- Be at the venue 15 minutes early, if possible.

In celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mathematics Club invites our brothers and sisters in Christ at New Lucena National Comprehensive High School to join the Thanksgiving Mass.

Let us come together as one community in prayer, thanksgiving, and reflection. Attendance of all students with their advisers is required.

We also encourage everyone to bring offerings for the mass and flowers for Mama Mary.

Last 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 once again proved that math can be both exciting and enjoyable with their 2nd 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔! 🥳🎉

This time, students tackled numbers in a whole new way through "𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗱𝘇’ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘇", a video game where players aimed to reach the highest level possible while applying the rules on operations of integers. They also put their logic and critical thinking to the test with the 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲, keeping minds sharp and competitive spirits high. 🧠💡

But the fun doesn't stop here. For our next 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔, get ready to twist and turn your 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗸'𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗲𝘀, flex your pattern recognition and logic skills in 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗼𝗸𝘂, and of course, level up again in 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗱𝘇’ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘇.
