Today, the earth trembled — and so did our hearts.
Around 10 a.m. on 10/10, many of us felt the ground move, and later I came across this verse — Jeremiah 10:10:

“But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God, and an everlasting King. At His wrath the earth shall tremble…”

It really made me stop for a moment.
Of all days and times, that verse showed up — and it couldn’t be more fitting. Sometimes God has His own way of reminding us of His power and presence.

Even when everything around us feels uncertain, He remains steady.
He’s still the same living God who keeps us safe and gives us peace through every trembling moment.

Let’s all remember to keep safe, stay alert, pray, and keep our faith strong.
Even when the world shakes, God never does. 🙏✨

I never saw your gentle face,
Nor felt your warm, embracing grace.
Yet through the halls where dreams take flight,
Your spirit whispers through the night.

You built a home where hope could grow,
For weary hearts with tears to sow.
A father’s care in every deed,
You heard the cry, you met the need.

In the Sisters of Mary School Girlstown, Cebu,
My dreams took shape, my heart grew too.
Within those walls, I learned to see,
The gift of love you gave to me.

Because of you, I dared to dream,
You lit my path, you were my beam.
Though trials tried to bring me low,
Your faith became my steady glow.

Though I was young, my soul could feel,
The boundless grace your hands would heal.
A life you gave, a dream restored,
A thousand thanks I can’t afford.

Around the world, your seeds were sown,
A legacy through lives you’ve grown.
Each girl and boy who walks today,
Reflects your light in their own way.

Though you have gone to rest above,
You left behind a life of love.
And in our hearts, you’ll always stay,
Your guiding star will light our way.
