Ashes and Action: A Day of Mercy| February 18, 2026

This Ash Wednesday, the HIADSCI community went beyond the pews to live out the Corporal Work of Mercy: Visiting the Imprisoned. As we received our ashes, we spent the day at the BJMP, sharing prayers and hope with our brothers and sisters behind bars. It was a powerful reminder that Lent is not just about what we give up, but the love we give away.

A huge Thank You to our amazing donors! Your contributions and hygiene kits brought comfort and smiles to many today. Your generosity is the heartbeat of this mission.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the BJMP Office for the warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to serve and connect with the community.

May this Lenten season lead us all closer to the path of compassion.
