This was the heartbeat of today’s orientation as the teachers of Tanza National High School explored the latest Learning Systems Reform Policies.
The day was packed with collaboration and "Peer Coaching" sessions where we reimagined our lesson plans using the latest research-based principles. We explored the new Three-Term School Calendar, which gives us dedicated time for remediation and deeper activities, ensuring that no learner is left behind.
The session dived deep into the pillars of the new reform, ensuring every TzNHS teachers is equipped with the knowledge to:
✅ Teach with Focus: Implementing the new Three-Term School Calendar and instructional blocks to maximize learning time.
✅ Design Better Experiences: Utilizing the CLASSPICS Learning Design Principles to create lessons that are inclusive, socially engaging, and grounded in active retrieval.
✅ Support Every Learner: Mastering the Flexible Learning Program (FLP) and Education in Emergencies (EiE) protocols to ensure no student is left behind, regardless of the situation.
✅ Bridge to Careers: Enhancing our Senior High School program with longer work immersion and field exposure to better prepare our students for college and life.
