Legends, the people and the nation are now fighting back! ✊🇵🇭

On September 21, 1972, Ferdinand Marcos Sr. declared Martial Law through Proclamation No. 1081. What followed was nearly a decade of fear, censorship, and brutality. Thousands were imprisoned, tortured, and killed—many never found, their stories buried in silence.

Today, we remember. We resist. We rise. And to those who march, speak, and stand for truth today—we wish you strength, courage, and safety. May your voices echo with the power of those who came before.

The Crow and the Pitcher is one of Aesop's Fables, numbered 390 in the Perry Index. It relates ancient observation of corvid behaviour that recent scientific studies have confirmed is goal-directed and indicative of causal knowledge rather than simply being due to instrumental conditioning.

In the story "The Crow and the Pitcher," a thirsty crow discovers a pitcher of water that is too low for it to reach. The crow is able to drink by smartly dropping pebbles into the pitcher, which causes the water to rise. The moral of the story is that problems can be resolved with intelligence and perseverance.

Like the crow that dropped stones in the pitcher, perseverance turns impossibility into possibility. 🐦‍⬛✨️
