SMALL AND HUMBLE, YET BUILT FOR A GREATER PURPOSE.

Three years ago, this was only a dream of ALS Teachers and learners who studied beneath a tree, sitting on cut logs while dreaming for a classroom of their own. Through the support of the barangay and generous hearts, that dream stands here. It may not look like a typical DepEd classroom, but every great journey begins with a humble start.

Today, this learning center is more than a classroom. It has become a center for education, public services, dialogues and hope.

For three years, it has been serving the community. Grateful for every milestone, and praying for many more years of meaningful service

OPISYAL NANG NAGBUKAS ANG KLASE NG ALS-SIDO! 📚✨

Masayang ipinababatid ng DepEd ALS Naujan South na pormal nang nagsimula ang klase para sa mga Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners sa SIDO. Ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mas mapalapit ang edukasyon sa mga kababayan nating nagnanais makapagtapos ng pag-aaral at magkaroon ng mas magandang kinabukasan.

Taos-pusong papasalamat sa Lokal na Pamahalaang Bayan ng Naujan sa pangunguna ni Mayor Henry Joel C. Teves sa patuloy na suporta sa programang ALS. Ang inyong malasakit at dedikasyon sa edukasyon ay nagbibigay ng pag-asa at oportunidad sa ating mga mag-aaral.

Lubos din ang aming pasasalamat kay Mam Madonna Arevalo, LGU ALS Coordinator sa kanyang malaking tulong at pakikipagtulungan na naging daan upang maitalaga ang isang Community ALS Implementer na eksklusibong magsisilbi sa SIDO. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas magiging tuloy-tuloy at mas epektibo ang paghahatid ng mga programang pang-edukasyon sa komunidad.

Pasasalamat din sa itinalagang Community ALS Implementer na si Mr. Marlon B. San Pedro. Salamat sa pagtanggap sa misyong ito. Nawa'y patuloy kang gabayang ng Panginoon sa iyong pagbibigay serbisyo.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the LGU Naujan for generously granting ALS Naujan South with 7 tables and 25 monoblock chairs for our ALS learners in Brgy. Caburo and Brgy. Banuton.

In a world where challenges often weigh heavy on young shoulders, ALS Naujan South District stands tall with Project REBUILD - a way of hope, healing, and holistic growth for every ALS learner.

Last September 19, 2025, we came together at Panikian CLC for a transformative Mental & Reproductive Health Symposium, in partnership with the Municipal and Provincial Health Office.

It was more than just an event — it was a safe space to listen, learn, and be heard. With the inspiring presence of PSDS Dr. Cleofe Z. Padrones, learners were reminded that their well-being matters, and their voices deserve to echo.

And the journey didn’t end there.

On October 2, 2025, our ALS teachers led a follow-up session at the Naujan South District ALS Center, diving deeper into lessons from that symposium anchored in the ALS Curriculum Competencies. This session, monitored by EPSA Marben Macatangay, reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing not just minds, but hearts and dreams.

Because education is not just about lessons — it’s about life. It’s about rebuilding confidence, restoring dignity, and bringing back purpose.

To every ALS learner: YOU ARE SEEN. YOU ARE VALUED. YOU ARE CAPABLE OF GREATNESS

Sa bawat upuang ito, mas maraming kwento ng pag-asa at tagumpay ang mabubuo. Salamat po sa inyong patuloy na suporta sa mga programa ng ALS sa ating bayan.

Boosting skills for better service!

On August 12, 2025, a capacity-building session on the Learner Information System (LIS) was conducted for our dedicated Community ALS Implementers — Maria K. Gayot, Ronald B. Delos Reyes, Gina D. Taywan, and Marck Vincent B. Asinas.

The activity was initiated and facilitated by Mr. Marben Macatangay, EPS-II for ALS, to strengthen our team’s skills in managing learner data and delivering more efficient educational services to our community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to LGU Naujan, through the leadership of Mayor Henry Joel C. Teves, and all Sangguniang Bayan members providing ALS Naujan South with committed Community ALS Implementers who help bring education services closer to the people of Naujan.

Breaking digital barriers!
ALS learners from various age groups have begun exploring the digital age through a simple yet meaningful activity—typing on a tablet using WPS. Through digital literacy sessions, they are gradually building their knowledge and skills in using technology, which is essential for education, employment, and daily life.

ALS Naujan South supports the ICT4ALS pilot implementation!

Verna Manalo and Ernie Cruel, ALS Teachers actively joined the Capability Building on ICT4ALS as the preparation for the said program. With tablets and laptops in hand, ALS Naujan South continues to break barriers and bring learning closer to every learner.

Our gratitude to the Bureau of Alternative Education, UNICEF, Habi, and to the Teacher Ambassador of ICT4ALS from SDO Oriental Mindoro, Jenelyn M. Baylon, for imparting her knowledge and skills during CAPB held at Jopats Resort, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro on July 17-18, 2025.

ALS learners will soon experience a more inclusive and tech-driven approach to education.
