📢ANNOUNCEMENT |

Please be informed that, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128 issued by the Office of the President on August 17, 2026, the implementation of Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs) for classes shall take effect tomorrow, August 18, 2026, in the Province of Ilocos Sur.

This measure is being implemented due to the continuous heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and in consideration of the safety and well-being of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain vigilant, and continue to monitor official announcements for further updates.

📌 PRESENTATION AND VALIDATION OF THE SIP & AIP | SY 2026–2029

August 13, 2026 | Sucoc Elementary School

Another meaningful milestone in our journey toward continuous school improvement!

Our School Head, Sir Leomar C. Gines, successfully presented the School Improvement Plan (SIP) for SY 2026–2029 and the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) during the validation conducted by the Schools Division Office.

The presentation highlighted the school’s priority improvement areas, targets, programs, activities, and proposed interventions, all anchored on the identified needs and realities of our learners and school community.

The validation also provided a meaningful avenue for the appraisers to raise questions, offer valuable suggestions, and provide recommendations. Sir Gines addressed the points raised and presented the necessary explanations and supporting information.

The SIP and AIP were successfully validated!

This achievement marks an important step toward ensuring that our plans are needs-based, responsive, strategic, and geared toward better learning outcomes and improved school performance.

With clear direction, strong commitment, and collective effort, we continue to build a better future for every learner of Sucoc Elementary School.

SCHOOL STATUS UPDATE | SUCOC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Matapos ang ilang araw ng malakas na pag-ulan at pag-ihip ng hangin, isinagawa ang paunang pagsusuri sa kalagayan ng Sucoc Elementary School.

Batay sa isinagawang assessment, maayos at ligtas ang mga gusali at silid-aralan ng paaralan, at walang nakitang malaking pinsala sa mga classroom. May ilang nagkalat na dahon at sanga ng puno sa paligid ng paaralan dulot ng malakas na hangin.

Naitala naman ang minor damage sa ilang kable ng CCTV at sa DICT WiFi Router na naapektuhan ng pagbagsak ng sanga ng puno. Sa kabuuan, minimal lamang ang naging pinsala sa paaralan.

Bilang paghahanda sa ligtas na pagbabalik ng mga mag-aaral at g**o, magsasagawa bukas ng Bayanihan sa Paaralan para sa paglilinis, pag-aayos, at pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kaayusan ng buong school premises.

Patuloy na binibigyang-prayoridad ng Sucoc Elementary School ang kaligtasan, kahandaan, at kapakanan ng bawat mag-aaral at personnel.

Sama-sama sa pagpapanatili ng isang malinis, maayos, at ligtas na paaralan.

🇵🇭 PAGDIRIWANG NG BUWAN NG WIKA 2026 🇵🇭

"Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."

Malugod na nakikiisa ang Sucoc Elementary School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 bilang pagkilala sa kahalagahan ng ating Wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kaalaman, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa makabagong panahon ng Artificial Intelligence (AI), higit nating mapapalawak ang pagkatuto at pananaliksik kung gagamitin natin ang teknolohiya nang may pananagutan at pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika. Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang temang ito upang ipakita na ang Wikang Filipino ay nananatiling matatag na tulay sa mayamang impormasyon, kultura, at kasaysayan habang sinasabayan ang mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at mga stakeholder na aktibong makiisa sa iba't ibang gawaing inihanda ng paaralan sa buong buwan ng Agosto. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika sa pamamagitan ng paglinang ng talino, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamahal sa kulturang Pilipino.

🌱 Sama-samang Nagtagumpay para sa Kalusugan ng Kabataan! 💚

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Barangay Council ng Sucoc sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Ronald Corpuz at SK Chairperson Trishalyn Ramirez, kasama ang buong konseho ng barangay, sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Feeding Program bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Nutrition Month.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng buong Sucoc Elementary School Teaching Staff sa pamumuno ni Leomar C. Gines, Ulong G**o III, naging matagumpay ang programang naglalayong mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at wastong nutrisyon ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Sa pagkakaisa, mas malusog at mas maliwanag ang kinabukasan ng bawat batang, SESian!

Empowering learners through awareness and education.

Sucoc Elementary School successfully conducted a Symposium on Anti-Bullying today July 21, 2026, led by Atty. Larizse R. Agatep-Piedad, Representative from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Ilocos Sur.

The symposium equipped our learners with valuable knowledge about their rights and responsibilities, the importance of respect, kindness, and empathy, and the legal consequences of bullying. Through this meaningful activity, we continue to promote a safe, inclusive, and bully-free learning environment where every child feels valued and protected.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Atty. Larizse R. Agatep-Piedad and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Ilocos Sur for sharing their time and expertise in inspiring our learners to stand against bullying and choose kindness every day.

Strengthening our partnership for a safer and more disciplined school community.

Sucoc Elementary School successfully conducted its General PTA Meeting, led by Mr. Leomar C. Gines, Head Teacher III, bringing together parents, guardians, and teachers in a meaningful discussion on the school's updated policies and guidelines.

The meeting highlighted important matters concerning learners' welfare, particularly the school's strengthened Anti-Bullying Program, learner discipline, and the implementation of new school rules and regulations, including the corresponding sanctions for violations. These updates will be incorporated into the Sucoc Elementary School Handbook to ensure that all stakeholders are well-informed and guided by clear expectations.

Through the continued collaboration of the school and our parents, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a safe, respectful, disciplined, and nurturing learning environment where every learner can grow and succeed.

Together, let us build a school culture founded on respect, responsibility, and shared accountability for the success and well-being of every child.
