IT’S OFFICIAL. Malacañang suspends government work and classes at all levels Tuesday (July 22, 2025) in the following areas due to continuing rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat:
- Metro Manila
- Zambales
- Bataan
- Pampanga
- Bulacan
- Cavite
- Batangas
- Rizal
- Pangasinan
- Tarlac
- Occidental Mindoro
Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez confirmed to reporters on Monday (July 21) that the Palace approved the suspension as recommended by the Office of Civil Defense PH.
This follows the announcement of DILG Philippines Secretary Jonvic Remulla on social media.
Gomez said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. authorized Remulla to announce class suspensions. | Darryl John Esguerra
