Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur – January 26, 2026, The Nagbukel District successfully conducted its District Festival of Talents at Nagbukel Central Schoo, showcasing the creativity, skills, and academic excellence of learners from different schools in the district.

Through the strong leadership of Public Schools District Supervisor Ma’am Madeline Aglibut, the festival was smoothly and successfully carried out across various contested learning areas. The event highlighted the district’s commitment to nurturing learners’ diverse talents and strengthening holistic education.

The success of the activity was made possible through the dedicated guidance of District English Coordinator Ma’am Daisy Manangan and District Araling Panlipunan Coordinator Ma’am Kristine Marie B. Barcena,together with the collaborative efforts of all school heads and teachers of the Nagbukel District. Their collective support and preparation empowered the learners to confidently demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and passion.

The District Festival of Talents served as a meaningful platform to hone learners’ abilities and discover their hidden talents, fostering confidence, discipline, and excellence among participants. It also reinforced the value of teamwork, dedication, and continuous learning within the school community.

Winners of the district-level competitions will proudly represent the Nagbukel District in the upcoming Division Festival of Talents,carrying with them the district’s spirit of excellence and determination.

𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗚𝗢-𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟, 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗲𝗹, 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱- Innovation took center stage as passion met purpose during the district-wide One Teacher , One Innovation feature activity, a bold and transformative initiative spearheaded by the active and innovative 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗔𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁.

Designed to challenge and awaken the creative genius of every teacher in Nagbukel District, the activity required each participant to develop a manipulative teaching material that can be used across all grade levels and applied to all learning areas. What made the innovations even more remarkable was that the materials were made from recyclable resources, friendly in cost, and easy to manipulate, proving that effective teaching tools do not need to be expensive to be impactful.

A total of 𝟐𝟐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒔 courageously took the stage to present and defend their innovations, showcasing not only their outputs but also the heart, effort, and purpose behind each material. Every presentation reflected originality, practicality, sustainability, and adaptability—demonstrating that creativity thrives even with limited resources.

The contested activity ignited healthy competition and collaboration, challenging teachers to stretch their imagination while keeping learners at the core of every design. What stood out most was the strong willingness and commitment of the participants—to create materials that would contribute to the improvement and holistic development of learners, making the teaching and learning process more lively, interactive, and engaging.

Through this initiative, the district reaffirmed its belief that quality education flourishes when teachers are empowered to innovate responsibly and sustainably. The One Teacher, One Innovation program became a testament to how resourcefulness, creativity, and passion can transform classrooms and inspire lifelong learning.

The winners will be announced in January 2026 and will receive a certificate of recognition and a cash prize generously sponsored by 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐁. 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧

-Energy, unity, and excellence filled the hall as school leaders across the Nagbukel District gathered for the Program Implementation Review, a powerful platform to reflect on achievements and strengthen commitment toward quality education.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the generosity and warm support of Sir Ronaldo Dalit, Principal I of Bantugo-Mission Integrated School. His approachable leadership and willingness to provide the venue created a conducive and welcoming space for open sharing and collaboration among school heads.

Anchored on the strong and inspiring leadership of Public School District Supervisor Ma’am Madeline R. Aglibut , all school heads were given the confidence and direction to present their 2025 school accomplishments. Her guidance emphasized accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the district.

One Heart, One District: Hon. Amalia C. Cabrera’s Generosity Sparks Excellence in Nagbukel Schools

Nagbukel District proudly extends its sincerest appreciation to our notable stakeholder, Hon. Amalia C. Cabrera, for her unwavering generosity and kindness in making our school learning environments safe, nurturing, and truly home-like for our learners. Through her invaluable support, every school in the district has benefited from numerous projects that uplift facilities and strengthen the spirit of bayanihan across the community.

From the bottom of our hearts, all Nagbukel District teachers and learners, headed by Ma’am Madeline Aglibut, Public Schools District Supervisor; Mr. Marcellano Bello, Head Teacher of Nagbukel Central School; Ma’am Krizzia Desiree Quario, School Partnership Focal Person; and Ma’am Mary Rose C. During the same awarding ceremony, Nagbukel National High School proudly received the 3rd Runner-Up, Best Bayanihan Implementer under the Secondary Level – Medium School Category during the Brigada Eskwela, under the leadership of Ma’am Nelia DiGa, School Principal, together with their School Partnership Focal Person, Ma’am Marivic Cabrera, who received the award on behalf of the school. Through the unity, cooperation, and shared commitment of the entire Nagbukel National High School family, the fruits of their hard work have yielded positive and inspiring results.

With the theme Every Learner Matters: Nurturing Growth in Multigrade Schools, Nagbukel District proudly showcased its talent, creativity, and dedication during the Division Multigrade (MG) Day, bringing home multiple victories and earning the title Overall 1st Runner-Up.

Leading the district’s triumphs was Taleb Elementary School,which secured 1st Place in the Modern Dance Craze. The captivating performance of Aviah Louvene P. Banadero, Julya Allyza Casey Dela Cruz, and Sheena Mae Morales stunned the audience with their energy and synchronization. Their success was made possible through the guidance of their coach, Ma’am Clarie M. Bajo, and the strong support of their School Head and District Multigrade Coordinator, Ma’am Lorna P. Banadero.
Taleb ES also earned 5th Place in Pair Creative Reading, represented by Gian Mckyrie Ancheta and Alicia Jhayne Reintegrado, coached by Ma’am Mayolyn P. Perper, with continued leadership from Ma’am Banadero.

Adding to the district’s accomplishments, Bandril Elementary School finished 3rd Place in the Creative Canvass: A Poster Passion Challenge. The artistic talent of Rhizen C. Hisarza and Jasmine Madeline B. Costan under the mentorship of Sir Daniel Hisarza, shone brightly. Their success reflects the guidance and support of their School Head, Ma’am Kristine Marie B. Barcena.

Meanwhile, Cadacad Elementary School, represented by Ma’am Analyn Gines,earned 5th Place in the Search for the Most Functional Multigrade Class Home, showcasing dedication in creating an organized, engaging, and learner-centered classroom environment. This achievement was made possible under the leadership of School Head Ma’am Emma A. Babida.

Despite being a small district, Nagbukel District continues to prove its strength, passion, and commitment to quality multigrade education,headed by our able Supervisor Ma'am Madeline Aglibut. Through teamwork, creativity, and excellence, they proudly raised the district banner—solidifying their well-deserved recognition as Overall 1st Runner-Up in Division MG Day 2025.

BREAKING: Nagbukel District Reclassification Process Concludes with Success

In a spectacular display of academic excellence, Nagbukel District has successfully concluded its comprehensive reclassification process, paving the way for career advancements for its dedicated teaching staff.

Under the close supervision of our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Ma'am Joye Madalipay and Public School District Supervisor Ma'am Madeline Aglibut, the reclassification process was a resounding success. The rigorous process, which included Demonstration Teaching, Classroom Observation Indicators (COI), Non-Classroom Observation Indicators (NCOI), and Behavioral Event Interview, was designed to evaluate the teachers' skills and competencies.

A team of dedicated Master Teachers and Principals from Nagbukel District worked tirelessly to evaluate the papers of all applicants, ensuring a fair and transparent process. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, as the results are expected to bring joy and hope to the hearts of the applicants.

As the news spreads like wildfire, the Nagbukel District Teachers is abuzz with excitement and anticipation. The applicants, who have worked tirelessly to hone their skills, are hoping to get promoted and take their careers to the next level. And with the perfect timing of our almighty God, their prayers are expected to be answered!

SCIENCE IGNITES NAGBUKEL: TRASHION MEETS BRAINS IN SCIENCE MONTH 2025

Nagbukel District schools simultaneously celebrated Science Month 2025 with a Trashion Show and Science Quiz Bee, highlighting both environmental awareness and academic excellence.

The Trashion Show turned heads as learners showcased creative outfits made from recycled materials, promoting the idea that “trash can be treasure” and underscoring the importance of reducing waste to protect the environment. Meanwhile, the Quiz Bee tested participants’ knowledge of science concepts, emphasizing critical thinking and problem-solving among young learners.

District officials noted that the celebration aimed to ignite scientific curiosity while instilling values of sustainability and innovation. By merging fashion with recycling and combining intellect with competition, the event demonstrated how science can inspire creativity and responsibility in everyday life.

As the program concluded, the message was clear: when science, creativity, and care for the Earth come together, even small communities can make a big impact.

𝑪𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒅, 𝑵𝒂𝒈𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒆𝒍, With banners flying high and cheers echoing across the grounds, the Nagbukel District Meet 2025 officially opened on September 27–28, 2025 at Cadacad Elementary School, bringing together athletes, coaches, teachers, and parents in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The event began with a warm welcome from Ma’am Emma Babida, teacher in-charge of the host school, followed by spirited yells, the raising of banners, and the oath-taking of officials and athletes. To seal the moment, Ma’am Madeline R. Aglibut, the ever-active and dedicated Public Schools District Supervisor, formally opened the meet and declared the games officially on. Her words inspired everyone to compete with discipline, respect, and unity—values that resonate beyond the playing field.

Four powerhouse teams carried the pride of their schools in this year’s District Meet. The Blue Eagles were composed of Bandril Elementary School, steered by Ma’am Kristine Marie M. Barcena, Cadacad Elementary School, guided by Ma’am Emma Babida, and Tadao Elementary School, led by Ma’am Mary Rose C. Angeles. The Yellow Falcons were represented by Lapting Elementary School with the committed Sir Jomar Corpuz, Taleb Elementary School with the steadfast Ma’am Lorna Banadero, and Mapisi Primary School with Ma’am Nerie Mei Quiray. Leading the Green Archers was Ma’am Rosalie Bello, while the Red Dragons were headed by Sir Marcellano Bello.

Throughout the two-day competition, the athletes poured their hearts into every match, proving that the District Meet was not just about winning medals but also about showcasing their skills, teamwork, and determination.

In the end, the Red Dragons rose as the Overall Champion, the Green Archers claimed First Runner-up, the Yellow Falcons secured Second Runner-up, and the Blue Eagles landed as Third Runner-up.

From the thundering cheers to the fierce battles on the field, the District Meet 2025 proved to be more than just a quest for medals—it was a showcase of unity and discipline in action.
